Before having two children, in 2017 and 2019, I regularly boarded dogs with Pawshake. I welcomed over 100 dogs into my home over the years. Our dog, Jack, recently passed away so we do not have any pets at the moment.&nbsp;
I have worked in Childcare for 15 years, and am a Registered ECE with my CPR First aid. My years in childcare included 7 as a School Age head teacher, 1.5 as a nanny and the remaining in a Kindergarten/Schoolage class in Stittsville. My experience with children has given me a calm, patient demeanor and a desire to meet the varying needs of families. I'm currently working short 3 hour shifts in the afternoon which leaves me with plenty of time to take care of your beloved pup.
Just like children, every animal has different needs and personalities, and I aim to give quality, tailored care to the animals I'm responsible for. I live in a quiet area in Nepean with a fenced in yard and beauitful walking trails (pictured in slideshow) very near by. Plenty of our neighbours have dogs and we frequently meet on walks and playing outside.

Reliable and loving pet walker. I've taken care of dogs and cats since my childhood. I have a lot of experience with my pets - almost every period of my life I had dogs or/and cats. Today I'm the loving owner of nice and adorable beagle girl (vaccinated and sterilised). She loves jogging with me in the mornings. I've often pet-sitting for friends and relatives.I've got Pet First Aid certificate from St. John Ambulance. I have first aid kit for pet in my car.I'm currently walking a couple of dogs in weekdays, so I have a lot of time windows throughout the day. I can jump-in by my car almost at any location in Ottawa, Nepean etc. I am pretty active and love different weather.The pet safety is my #1 priority. Dogs will be always on leash during walks and only dogs from the same household will be walked at one time. I can offer as long athletic walks to burn energy as visits to your home for taking care of cats.



Your cat is a part of your family so it's important to feel confident in the person you are trusting to look after them. I have three cats, each with their unique personality - likes, dislikes and quirks. I love getting to know the personality of each cat in my care.&nbsp;
It takes time for some cats to feel comfortable around a stranger - if that's your cat I can relate! My tabby is very lovable with those she trusts, but will hide from unfamiliar people. I take the time to work on building trust and being present on their terms.
Other cats are happy and friendly, especially if you have their next meal! If you have a multi-cat household and they need monitoring at meal times to ensure they stick to their own food, I can provide that.
Playtime is an important part of each visit. I will take the time to play with your cat(s) during the 30 minute visit.
Lastly, the litter tray will be cleaned. Change can be stressful for cats and a dirty litter is one stress that can be avoided with a litter tray cleaning on each visit.&nbsp;

For dogs, I will feed them three times a day and take them for multiple walks throughout the day. They will also provide playtime activities such as fetch and tug-of-war with toys. Additionally, I will ensure that each dog has access to its scratching post if necessary. The same level of care is provided for cats as well; I make sure they have fresh food at all times as well as clean litter boxes.I also go above and beyond by providing owners with a detailed care plan which outlines the services that were provided during each visit so they can rest assured knowing their pets were in good hands during their absence period.

Je m'assurerai de les garder heureux et nourris pendant votre absence, ou même simplement de les surveiller, de les emmener faire une promenade afin que nous puissions faire de l'exercice.&nbsp;
Je vis dans une maison propre et bien entretenue. J'ai une cours-arrière semi-clôturée d'un côté de taille très grande au cas où votre animal ne serait pas encore prêt pour "l'extérieur". Je serais heureuse de me promener avec eux (en laisse) ou de les laisser jouer attacher que si vous le souhaitez.&nbsp;
Sinon, il y a un grand parc à environ 1 km de chez moi pour que je puisse les promener et jouer avec eux là-bas. Sinon j'ai une tonne de jouets et un arbre à chats.&nbsp;
Mon quartier est dans une zone résidentielle (vitesse limitée à 30 km/h) avec peu ou pas de circulation en dehors de mes voisins, il y a deux écoles proches.
J'habite dans un sous-sol chez mes parents dans leur maison avec assez d'espace&nbsp;
