I am a responsible adult pet-sitter. Since I moved to Calgary, I applied to do pet-sitting. I love to spend time and take care of your pet as if it's my own. I am very flexible and available to do either walks or take care of your pet at your home while you are away.&nbsp;I have previous experience of pet-sitting in Canada and can give reference.I had pets of myown before moving to Canada. Two dogs, a german shepherd Axel and a lovely mix Charlie. My family has seven cats, which are all rescued from the streets. I had bunnies before moving to Canada and am aware of how sensitive and demanding bunnies can be. Howdy! My name is Vanessa, I moved to Calgary in May 2022. I love the mountains, road trips, camping&nbsp; and outdoor activies. I live in Bankview with my boyfriend and our senior citizen dog. Her name is Lili, she's a 14 years old chihuahua-daschund. I have always loved animals and have had a few growing up, cats, hamster, rabbit and dogs.
Me and my boyfriend started cat sitting our neighbor's adorable 3 cats. We loved going there to feed them, play with them, hangout for a bit and clean their litter boxes. She moved away and we miss hanging out with the cats and taking care of them! That's why I decided to become a pet sitter with Pawshake. I&nbsp;have taken care of numerous pets for friends and family over the years.
I currently offer cat sitting with visits available once a day. Services include refilling and cleaning food/water dishes, cleaning litter box, brushing them and playing with them. I will also send photos so you know your fur babies are well.
I'm also available to walk your small-medium dog for 30 minutes.
I would prefer if you're located within inner city,&nbsp; but feel free to send me a message to discuss other options. I'm mostly available during the weekends, Friday to Sunday.

Hi,I go by BG (like the band BeeGees). I love Dogs and have been fostering dogs for a while. I do have good experience in understanding their behavior. I would be selective in taking the dog as i need to understand its background, but rest assured I could take good care of it and would love as one of my own. I have about few years in fostering with Calgary Humane society, Barcs rescue and others. I had a pet on my own long time ago but have been only fostering these days.I work fulltime in IT. I do have the flexibility to work remotely hence usually I work from home to take care of pets.I live alone in basement suite with a nice backyard in a quite neighborhood around beddington Calgary, and do not have any other pets in my house. When moving from states, i do need to provide a police clearence when coming to Canada. I would offer dogsitting and dogboarding services when available and welcome one or two animal at any given one time. I love dogs and I understand it would be a stressful change for them when their owners are away, so I help treat their anxiety by allowing them to trust me, and making sure they are at ease when their owners are away.During pet boarding, I would keep a constant watch to make sure of their safety and well being. For both on boarding or day pet sitting I will walk them twice or thrice a day morning/noon and eve (for active dogs) and if the owners are okay to take them to dog parks I could help with that as well. Usual walks are about 3-5Km around my neighborhood along calgary pathways or playgrounds. I can also stay/sit with them for an hour or two after each walk so they could settle down after the walk. Also willing to take them on longer walks or hikes (if capable) as per request of the pet owner. The pets will be staying inside the house most of the time and during the night and but will be free to roam both inside and outside (fenced backyard) during the day. Water and food, Treats will all be provided and can provide medication as directed by the pet owners. I have security camera as well to help record and update status everyday if the owner wishes. Provided are photos for some of the spaces in house where the dogs can be comfortable, the sunroom, the backyard or safely indoor room next to a centralized heater inside.

I listen to animals and am very attentive to any change in their behavior. I have a very good grounding in terms of education. I practice positive education with my animals. I propose a walk for your dogs, the walk lasts between 30-45 minutes, it includes moments of play, cuddling, and energy expenditure. 
I can also administer médication, and help train your pets.
During my home visits, I spend an your with your pets, dividing my Time between checking the apartment (pee, poo), giving them food and water, and playing and cuddling them, depending on their temperament and needs. I can also take care of watering your plants and collecting your mail.

I grew up in a family home surrounded furry friends. There are 4 family dogs (American bully, thai mixed breed, spitz, teacup chihuahua/pomeranian mix) and I have been involved with their care for around 14 years total. My dogs are now older (6m, 8y, 14y, 16y) and so I have experience looking after dogs of varying energy levels from puppies to senior dogs. I can comfortably provide oral medication to your dogs if that is a part of their routine. I have also attended to some exotic pets such as hedgehogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, fresh water fish, turtles and sugar gliders.&nbsp;
Currently, I live in a pet-friendly apartment with my sister and we do not have any pets yet. There is an off-leash dog park steps away from my place that I can take your dog to play at (University District off-leash dog park). Moving away from my hometown for university and work thus being apart from my family dogs have made me miss pet interactions immensely, I would love to get some animal interactions with your furry friends!&nbsp;
This past year, I have spent many hours volunteering at the dog shelter for BC SPCA and was tasked with kennel cleaning, dog walking, dog socialization, enrichment, and feeding (as well as providing medicated foods for certain dogs).&nbsp;
I also have pet-sitting experiences. I cat-sat and bunny-sat for friends and coworkers during long weekends and holidays over 1 week long (such as Christmas-New Year break).&nbsp;
