"We have used Pawshake before when we travel. We like the idea of having someone visit our home versus placing our nervous cat in a kitty kennel. I located Johanne using Pawshake and we arranged for a meet to get to know her before our trip. She immediately bonded with our cat and we felt totally comfortable giving her open access to our home while we were away.
Johanne attended our home on the schedule we had agreed upon and spent quality time with our cat and kept us updated on each of her visits. If you are planning on looking for a responsible adult that truly cares for cats, that you want to trust to be punctual and communicative, then I have no hesitation in recommending Johanne. "

"Angela was a fantastic cat sitter. She was extremely communicative and provided amazingly detailed reports of how our cat was doing while we were away. She treated our cat and our home with the utmost care. Angela was very accommodating of our complex schedule to plan the meet-and-greet as well the key drop-off and pick-up. I definitely recommend Angela for pet sitting needs. She is truly passionate about caring for animals and it shows in all of her interactions throughout the process. "

"I cannot express enough how wonderful Ivonne was as a catsitter! From the moment I met her, I knew my cats would be in great hands, and she truly exceeded all expectations. My cats absolutely adored her, and it was clear she gave them so much love and attention. She kept me updated with hilarious videos of their antics, which gave me peace of mind and lots of laughs while I was away.
Ivone followed all my instructions to the letter, making sure everything was done exactly as I requested. Not only was she attentive to my cats' needs, but she also left my house spotless—it's like she was never even there! Her communication was excellent, always responsive and considerate. It’s not easy to find someone who you trust completely with your home and pets, but I would recommend Ivone in a heartbeat. I’m already looking forward to having her care for my cats again!

"One of our main concerns with traveling on a vacation was what to do with our cat. She is a shy and anxious kitty. We thought about boarding her but with consideration to her personality, thought it would be best to have someone come in and visit her in our home.
We found Samy on Pawshake and couldn’t have been happier with how she has helped us. She was willing to come to our house before we left and get introduced to our cat. While we were gone Samy sent us updates after visits with pix included. Samy was punctual and attentive.
She went far beyond what we expected of her and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a person to care for their cat.
Thanks Samy. We will reach out to you next time we are traveling. "NReview by Neal

"Daniela and Peter were fantastic pet sitters! They were very responsive, and were friendly, and good with our cats when they came for the pre-sitting visit. While we were away, we received daily updates, with photos - on what they had done, how the cats were, and any other things that came up. I would not hesitate to recommend Daniela and Peter to anyone looking for a petsitter in Ottawa."
