All my life, I've always had an animal friend. Sometimes more than one.All my pets have lived long, happy, healthy lives, almost always exceeding the life expectancy of their species and breed.When I moved from my previous country to Canada, I had to leave my beloved Tyson (French Bulldog) in the care of my family. I can't bring him with me because he is already old dog and it would be dangerous and unsafe for him to face a international travel for long hours.So, I believe I can lessen the loss of my dog friend by caring for him and playing with other people's dog friends.I was born and lived on a farm until I was 17. Because of this, I have experience and knowledge of everything it takes to care for a variety of animals, including cows, horses, sheep, cats, dogs, rabbits, and more.If you entrust your friend to my care, you can rest assured knowing that he will be well cared for and kept safe.

My name is Celeste and I provide petting services either in my home or yours. I have always been a huge animal lover and have had my own pets for over 30 years. I first started offering pet sitting services when I was in my early 20s. These were offered to clients at the veterinary clinic that I worked for at the time. I always loved providing a safe and comfortable environment for the pets while their parents were away. That’s what I consider dog and cat owners is parents to their fur babies.
I know how stressful it can be when you are travelling and have to leave your pets at home so finding the right match is really important. Hopefully, I can do that for you so that you can travel and enjoy your vacation without worrying that your pet is being well cared for and loved.
I think it’s important to mention that I am retired from my career as a veterinary technician, most of that career was working emergency medicine in downtown Toronto and working as a critical care veterinary technician at a teaching veterinary college in Prince Edward Island.
I provide 3 walks per day plus they can play in the backyard in between. The length of the walk would normally be 20 to 30 minutes but this is depending on the weather of course and the type of breed. I know with my little guys they don’t do well in extreme heat or poor air quality on their walks so I would take that account with your pet as well.
As I am retired I would be home a good portion of the day with your pet so they would not be lonely. I live by myself with my two little boys, the pugs and they are very social and are willing to share their dog toys with their friends. My dogs sleep in the bed with me and your Pet will be welcomed on the bed as well. I have had some pets come with their crate that they like to sleep in at night and I placed this in the den so that they have lots of peace and quiet for sleeping.
As you will notice from my pictures my backyard is fully fenced in and the gate is secured as I’ve pug proofed it so Spike cannot escape.
If I am providing services in your home my visits will be 30 minutes to an hour in duration. This includes feeding and changing the water bowl, doing a security check on the house and bring in the mail, taking out the garbage for you on garbage day, cleaning of litter box or cages for cats and pocket pets. Of course it goes without saying that they will be played with and provided with some social time, if it is the dog in your home then I would be taking it for at least a half hour walk.
I also like to take pictures and send you updates via text or email or What’s App while you are away so that you are reassured that they are having a good time in your absence.
I am retired so i will be available to provide your pet with lots of attention and love during the day and all through the night.
I have two very friendly dogs who love to have fur friend come over to play or have sleepovers. I believe in treating them as part of my family and they are my surrogate fur babies while in my care.
What Celeste would like to know about your pet: 
I would require information as to any behaviour or medical problems that need special attention. As to breed preference I am totally open but would prefer smaller or medium sized dogs the exception to this would be puppies where I would take any breed. Large dog would be considered on a case by case basis depending on age and activity requirements/


At Pine Castle Pet Resort your dog is treated like family. Our furniture is their furniture. We send photos quite often to keep you in the loop and so you know how much fun they are having on their vacation here!
I work from home so I am with your fur babies all day.
I have been caring for animals for 25+ years and have been caring for other families fur babies for 7+ years through various pet sitting apps. I have my pet CPR certification and have experience administering medication as well as handling senior dogs as well as dogs that may require special attention due to health limitations. Your animals are safe here and their best interest is my top priority. We have 3 spots at a time. **Summer spots are filling up quickly.When considering me please keep these points in mind. I have:-  1 year old daughter-  2 dogs - a Great Pyrenees &amp; Chipompom -  2 cats, although they have their own room-  a large non fenced yard (some dogs I watch are great off leash and stay with the other dogs, otherwise I take them out on leash every time!)****For all dogs safety, before your pets stay here, we arrange a "Meet and Greet" to ensure our dogs are compatible.
My home: I have a medium size home with a large yard. Keep in mind it is not fenced in but we have never had an issue before. Dogs that are good off leash stay in packs with my other two dogs and those that are not good off leash, I respect that completely and only let your dog out for bathroom breaks and walks while on leash. I also have a couple long leashes for extended outside breaks (weather permiting of course). We do have hardwood on our mainfloor so I do ask that for dogs over 30lbs, their nails are trimmed just before their stay with us.&nbsp;
My services: I offer home style pet boarding. Your pets have access to our entire home and our furniture is not off limits. Where ever they feel comfortable, they can relax and really enjoy themselves.
