I'm a lifelong animal lover. I grew up in my father's vet clinic (he's now retired) in BC, with cats, dogs, horses, and a random assortment of wild animals we looked after for rescues. Unfortunately, I am now allergic to dogs, so I can only offer cat sitting. I have lots of experience with senior cats and cats with health issues.&nbsp;
We have three cats of our own, one of whom is a very fussy 19! We absolutely adore our floofs, and we have been thrilled with our cat sitter. Having experienced how much it helped us to know our fur kids are in good hands, I've been motivated to start offering to help others the same way.
I'll spend an hour with your cat(s) each visit to ensure they have some socialization and play time. If they like or need brushing, I'll make sure they are brushed. One of my cats is learning to use speech buttons, so if your cat uses buttons, I'm familiar with how that works.&nbsp;
If your cat requires a second visit each day for medication reasons, I can accommodate that, too. In those cases, one visit would be short - roughly half an hour. The other would be a longer, more social visit.
I'll also make sure to water plants and bring in your mail. I have quite a few plants of my own and work as a professional freelance gardener, so I'm pretty good with plants.&nbsp;


Animals have always been a big part of my life, and my love for pets is what motivated me to become a pet sitter. I know how important it is for pet owners to feel confident and at ease when they leave their furry family members in someone else’s care. For me, pet sitting is not just about feeding or walking—it’s about giving pets the love, comfort, and attention they deserve while their families are away.
I have previous experience caring for cats, from playful kittens to senior cats who need a little extra patience. Friends and family have trusted me with their pets for years, and I truly enjoy forming a bond with every animal I meet. I also understand the importance of routines, exercise, and providing a safe environment.
I only do home visit services.Whether it’s cuddles, playtime,or long walks, I look forward to keeping your pet happy and loved while you’re away.&nbsp;


Howdy! My name is Vanessa, I moved to Calgary in May 2022. I love the mountains, road trips, camping&nbsp; and outdoor activies. I live in Bankview with my boyfriend and our senior citizen dog. Her name is Lili, she's a 14 years old chihuahua-daschund. I have always loved animals and have had a few growing up, cats, hamster, rabbit and dogs.
Me and my boyfriend started cat sitting our neighbor's adorable 3 cats. We loved going there to feed them, play with them, hangout for a bit and clean their litter boxes. She moved away and we miss hanging out with the cats and taking care of them! That's why I decided to become a pet sitter with Pawshake. I&nbsp;have taken care of numerous pets for friends and family over the years.
I currently offer cat sitting with visits available once a day. Services include refilling and cleaning food/water dishes, cleaning litter box, brushing them and playing with them. I will also send photos so you know your fur babies are well.
I'm also available to walk your small-medium dog for 30 minutes.
I would prefer if you're located within inner city,&nbsp; but feel free to send me a message to discuss other options. I'm mostly available during the weekends, Friday to Sunday.
