Love dogs but can't have one full time. I'm a dog auntie to many but I travel too often to have one full time. I have a cat named Kiwi and she is lovely but would still enjoy walking a dog now and then. I'd love to give you a hand with yours and have another reason to get outside and exercise more. It would also enable me to make a bit of money to cover rising costs of living. I live centrally and I enjoy walking down by the lake. I walk about 5-7 kms each time. Would love to pick up your dog and go for a walk or throw a ball with them in the park. Can also feed them upon return and see that they have enough water. Flexible on timing. Available weekday evenings and Saturdays and Sundays. Big or small dogs are great - love them all.

Hi! I currently live in Bloorwest village, though I grew up on a Christmas tree farm on the weekends around nature and wildlife. I've been around animals my whole life with dogs, cats, rats, hamsters, and mice as our other family members and my dad being a veterinarian.I went vegan about 10 years ago after volunteering at a farm sanctuary for rescued animals. I have a cat named Xander (Buffy reference..) who is my world. While I would love to have a dog as well, I don't have the space currently for one. I currently work in retail, and one of the best parts of my job is when customers come in with their dogs! Animals make my life brighter and I would love to have dog walking be a regular part of my life.I'm a very detail oriented person so the more details the better when it comes to looking after your furbaby on walks. I would love to hear about their personality, likes and dislikes, any triggers they may have, so that they have the most enjoyable walk and their needs are met, and so that I feel fully prepared. Their safety will be my number 1 priority and it's important that your dog, you as the guardian, and myself feel comfortable and I feel knowledge is a key part of achieving that. If you would like updates on your furbaby I would be happy to provide them through photos and texts.My feet are my mode of transportation so I only take bookings that are under 20 minute walking distance of where I live.Safety: If you are considering hiring me to walk your dog, I would really appreciate if you have a photo of yourself and your pet so that I feel more confident that you are a real person. I have taken care of people's dogs, both as a Walker and house sitter. Am kind, friendly, and easily relate to dogs as well as cats. This normally keeps me from having pets of my own as I'm gone for much of the day. However, from time to time, I take time away from teaching (like now) to work on my extracurricular pursuits and during that time pick up odd gigs. When I was younger,  before I became a schoolteacher, I would often pet sit/house sit and have been looking to do it again as I  enjoyed it very much. I am mature and dependable and your pet will most likely also think of me as enjoyable company.I am open to taking pets inside my home as well as visiting to pet sit. However, I would like to talk to you first about your situation if you want to drop your pet off. If I am boarding a dog, I will only board a maximum of two dogs, total, at any given time. I live in a two bedroom condo and am the only one living here. Since I teach high school, I will be off work this August, and perhaps also the fall (I may teach night school from home using my computer), and so will have a fair amount of time to look after animals. I am able to feed, play and clean their litter box while you are away at your home. I am available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays night between 7-9pm. Myself as well as my wife Prishie are animal lovers and have an experience with dogs for 12+ years. We are available throughout the week including weekends to care for your furry family member!
I grew up surrounded by dogs at my family home and have worked with diverse dog breeds at rescue &amp; care centres. Our friends and family also have always relied on us to walk, feed, bathe and babysit their pets for nights and days.
Prishie works from home which allows her to be available throughout the day to make sure your pet is cared for. We also are proud parents of a Lhasa apso named Simba who is extremely friendly and a calm dog.
We have lots of green spaces around our apartment building and we live right across High Park which is the best place for dog walks. Every walk is an excursion for them (and for us) and each time--a happy tail wagging experience.
We shall take them out on long walks (depending on age/requirements) as a team and always ensure that our furry friends have a good time with care and safety.
The dogs are generally never let off leash to ensure they stay safe. If crates are needed we can crate your dog (crate to provided by the guardian) while they're with us, we also have a variety of toys but you are also more than welcome to bring whatever other toys/blankets/bedding to make their stay more comfortable.

I'm currently working part-time while my wife, Prishie, works from home full-time. So, will have plenty of time to play with your pups and take them on walks. We are available throughout the week including weekends.
Our apartment has a 20 feet long balcony for the pups to gaze and let their curiosity run free. We also have a friendly dog who can easily keep your dog company. We can also crate your dog if needed the extra care and rest.
