As a lifelong dog lover and experienced pet owner, I've always had a special place in my heart for animals. I've had dogs in my household ever since I was born so I have lots of experience walking them and knowing how to keep them entertained. Now that I have moved out, and am going to the university of Guelph, I don't have any dogs of my own. Although having my own dog would be too much of a commitment right now, I would love to spend some time with them as I am constantly missing my dogs from home. As a university student, I'm looking for a way to spending my time while also staying active, and what a better way than helping care for your pets? I know how important it is to have someone trustworthy and dependable to care for your pets, and I’ll treat them like they’re my own. Whether it's walking, playing, or just stopping by for a check-in, I'm here to ensure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you're away.

I offer:

Dog boarding, daycare, and dog walking
Up to 2 guest dogs at a time, to ensure personalized attention and a stress-free environment
1–2 walks per day, each typically 30–45 minutes, adjusted to your dog’s energy level
Supervised outdoor play in a fully fenced backyard
Administering oral medications (no injections)
Light brushing/grooming on request (not professional grooming)
No formal training services, but I will reinforce routines and commands your dog is already working on

Time Spent with Pets
Since I work from home, I’m available to supervise pets 24/7, with minimal time away. During boarding, pets will never be left alone for more than 3 hours, and during daycare, no more than 1 hour. I structure my day around their needs and make sure they feel safe, engaged, and loved.
My Routine &amp; Availability
I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so I can easily accommodate daytime and overnight care. Walks, feeding, playtime, and downtime are all integrated into my daily routine. I’m available weekdays and most weekends, and I’m happy to discuss longer stays or recurring bookings.
My Home &amp; Family
I share my home with:

Sully, our senior Bernese Mountain Dog—she’s incredibly gentle and gets along well with other animals
Loaf, our mellow orange tabby cat, who mostly keeps to herself
My child and partner—both kind, calm, and experienced with animals


Guest pets are welcome throughout the home and can sleep wherever they’re most comfortable—a cozy pet bed in the living room, a crate (if they use one), or even beside us in the bedroom.
We have a fully fenced backyard that’s spacious, secure, and perfect for supervised outdoor time. Gates are always locked, and pets are never left outside unattended.

As a certified pet sitter and dedicated pet lover, I currently volunteer at an animal shelter. I believe every pet deserves a loving home and strives to provide top-notch care. While not every home needs a pet, those that do should cherish their furry family as we are their whole world. I am passionate about animal welfare and will donate 1/4 of my pet sitting earnings to animal shelters, helping stray animals find love and care again. I have a very flexible schedule, except Tuesdays to Thursdays, which I have in person classes for school and volunteer work at the animal shelter. Can work things out if needed.

Below are the services I offer with a small description of what I would be doing during each service:

Dog Walks&nbsp;
I will walk the dog for at least 30 minutes once or twice per day. If your dog enjoys car rides and you’re okay with that, we can go to dog parks and trails to enjoy a little adventure. I would prefer one dog at a time so I can give my full attention to engaging, interacting, and playing with him or her. I’m also fine with an additional dog if they prefer going out together. All decisions are subject to the preferences of our furry friends.
Home Visits&nbsp;
I can come by once or twice a day with at least an hour stay for each visit to make sure your furry family is well taken care of. I can administer oral medication to the pet if needed. There will be indoor playtime for each visit. If they enjoy the outdoors, I can also accommodate that. I will also help with some minor home chores such as watering plants and bringing in the mail if needed.
