Hi, I’m Amanda! I’m an Edmonton-based pet lover who grew up with dogs like Xuxa, Samantha, Bernardo, Duda, Paçoca, Minnie, and Ripley. Beyond my childhood pets, I have independent experience pet-sitting, including caring for two of my previous neighbors' cats.I offer reliable services tailored tightly to your pet's established routine:* Dog Walking ($19 for 30 min / $25 for 1 hour): A typical walk involves exploring a nearby neighborhood park for fresh air and sniffing. Safety is my top priority: I use a secure leash, stay highly aware of our surroundings to avoid reactive situations, and always check weather and pavement temperatures.* Drop-In Home Visits ($25 for 1 hour): Perfect for feeding, refreshing water, scooping litter, and interactive play like fetch.I carefully adapt to different pet behaviors. If your pet is nervous, I take things slow, sit on their level, and use their preferred treats to build trust. For safety, I always request your emergency vet contact info beforehand. You can also expect seamless communication from me—I love sending regular message updates and plenty of cute photos during every single visit or walk!Feel free to message me to discuss how I can support your furry family members!

Hi! My name is Risha, and I have been around animals since childhood. Growing up, I was always the one who would stop to pet dogs, learn their personalities, and make sure they felt safe and loved. As a pet parent myself, I understand how important it is to have someone reliable and trustworthy caring for your pet when you’re not available. I know how much love and concern goes into choosing the right person, and I take that responsibility very seriously. When caring for pets, I like to keep their routine as normal as possible. I follow feeding schedules carefully, make sure they always have fresh water, and provide daily walks and playtime suited to their energy level. Some dogs love long, active walks, while others prefer calm strolls — I adjust based on their personality. I also make sure they get enough rest, comfort, and mental stimulation so they feel relaxed and secure.
I pay close attention to their behavior and body language, especially if they’re shy, senior, or adjusting to a new environment. If needed, I can administer basic oral medication and will always maintain a clean, safe space.
For everyone’s safety, I only accept vaccinated pets. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos so you can feel reassured and connected while you’re away.
