Before having two children, in 2017 and 2019, I regularly boarded dogs with Pawshake. I welcomed over 100 dogs into my home over the years. Our dog, Jack, recently passed away so we do not have any pets at the moment.&nbsp;
I have worked in Childcare for 15 years, and am a Registered ECE with my CPR First aid. My years in childcare included 7 as a School Age head teacher, 1.5 as a nanny and the remaining in a Kindergarten/Schoolage class in Stittsville. My experience with children has given me a calm, patient demeanor and a desire to meet the varying needs of families. I'm currently working short 3 hour shifts in the afternoon which leaves me with plenty of time to take care of your beloved pup.
Just like children, every animal has different needs and personalities, and I aim to give quality, tailored care to the animals I'm responsible for. I live in a quiet area in Nepean with a fenced in yard and beauitful walking trails (pictured in slideshow) very near by. Plenty of our neighbours have dogs and we frequently meet on walks and playing outside.

Growing up, cats were always a part of my family, they have always been in my life and I adore them! However, I'm willing to be flexible and negotiate depending on your needs, whether they be:- taking pets out for potty time- scooping/cleaning/changing litter or pads- enclosure care- taking for walks/providing exercise- feeding, watering, cleaning and maintaining dishes/fountains/dispensers&nbsp;- if medication is required, I will learn how to properly administer&nbsp;- spending time to give some loving attention, petting, and scritching as well as playing with toys so your pets don't get too lonely or bored while you are awayAvailability is currently open but may change with work schedule. Reliable and loving pet walker. I've taken care of dogs and cats since my childhood. I have a lot of experience with my pets - almost every period of my life I had dogs or/and cats. Today I'm the loving owner of nice and adorable beagle girl (vaccinated and sterilised). She loves jogging with me in the mornings. I've often pet-sitting for friends and relatives.I've got Pet First Aid certificate from St. John Ambulance. I have first aid kit for pet in my car.I'm currently walking a couple of dogs in weekdays, so I have a lot of time windows throughout the day. I can jump-in by my car almost at any location in Ottawa, Nepean etc. I am pretty active and love different weather.The pet safety is my #1 priority. Dogs will be always on leash during walks and only dogs from the same household will be walked at one time. Hi I'm Talia a huge animal lover. I am 21 years old and I work as a full time Fire prevention technician.I started taking care of animals in 2017 at the SPCA de l'Outaouais. I would walk the dogs, bathe them, feed them, play with the cats, and help care for the other small animals. I now help care for our 9 rescued animals; 5 guinea pigs, 3 cats, and our dog Almendra (Allie). I have always had a strong love and compassion for animals and all of our animals are rescues.&nbsp;I have a lot of experience with a variety of different animals of different ages and health levels, from feeding them, clipping nails, to giving them medication. I've done a bit of everything over my last few years of rescuing and helping out rescues.&nbsp;Dog walks will be 30 minutes but can go up to an hour if desired at an extra cost:)I can also come to your house to feed your animals, play with them, clean the litter, and what ever else they may need.
