Recent moves to Vancouver from Ireland, have a dog (Wheaton Terrier) and cat (Maine Coon) at home. Let me tell you, the free time and limitless personal space is not all that it cracks up to be. I am a HR professional who previously worked in a bank before the big move here.

I am currently unable to have a pet of my own but would love to have the opportunity to give the time, attention and care to anothers pet. 

Now have around 10 months experience with cat visiting and sitting, love to give each one their own time and attention. Have experience giving medicine in different forms - pills, drops, inter ear balms, inhalers etc. Leave the owners space clean and tidy to ensure animal is also happy.

Understand that each pet has their own personality and owner their own preferences or routine for taking care of them, I am keen and happy to learn these to ensure that the interaction is worth while and is a benefit to both. 

Would have grown up with both cats and dogs, so am used to a busy home. My dog would have been as active as her owner but was was walked religiously twice daily, often for a long period and in scenic areas. While I would not have a car currently, I would endeavour to find a nice area for them to walk/play. 

Get on very well with cats and understand they may need a moment to get to know a new person, have ample patience to get to know them and their needs. My own would have been walked in the garden in the spring/summer, supervised by myself while he hunted flies and birds that dared to fly by. 

Good with instruction and any personalised needs the pet may require. Good time management skills, can stick to any schedule set by yourself.
