We’re Johanna (I go by Nanda) and Rob, a mature professional couple based in the Ottawa area who provide home and pet care through WellNest Home & Pet Care. We enjoy animals, travelling and giving homeowners the peace of mind of knowing both their pets and their property are in capable hands. Nanda has experience working in a veterinary setting and has cared for animals throughout her life. Rob is a retired professional with extensive property maintenance experience. Together, we’re comfortable caring for dogs, cats and other household pets, including feeding, walks, playtime, companionship and established medication routines. We understand that every pet has its own personality and routine. Our goal is to keep them comfortable and happy in their familiar surroundings while their family is away. We’re attentive to instructions and happy to provide regular updates and photos. Our experience also goes beyond pet care. As property owners and experienced Airbnb hosts, we understand the importance of security, cleanliness and treating someone else’s home with care. We can also look after plants, collect mail, manage garbage and recycling and keep an eye on the property during your absence. Because there are two of us, your pets and home benefit from the attention and reliability of two responsible adults. We personally provide the care ourselves. We’re available for home visits as well as overnight house and pet sitting, including longer stays. Whether you’re away for a weekend, a vacation or an extended period, our goal is to make your time away as worry-free as possible.
