I have experience in both pet sitting throughout my life, as well as caretaking wild animals at wildlife rescues in South Africa and China before completing my Master's degree in environmental science at Concordia University. I have a keen interest in animal behavior science and apply this knowledge to my interactions with the animals I've cared for and am always sensitive to and attentive to their needs and boundaries. 

Animals I've worked with: domestic cats & dogs, rodents, fish, raptors, cheetahs, caracals, wild cats, wild dogs, monkeys, arthropods

Needless to say, animals have always been a huge part of my life: I have grown up with and cared for animals all my life and I currently share my home with two rescue cats.

In addition to basic caretaking tasks like feeding, grooming, walking, enrichment, and cleaning, I also have experience with administering medications orally and via syringe.

I am diligent about accomodating any special instructions both for nutrition, health, handling, and safety. For dog-walking in particular, I am also happy to run with your dog as I run regularly, weather permitting. 

I will also provide regular updates on your pet with photos so that you know they are safe and well.

For first meetings:

• Please tell me about your pet's personality, preferences & needs (e.g. are they shy/friendly/energetic/aggressive/need extra attention, should they be kept away from other animals, do they have other behavioral issues, what to watch out for during walks) 
• Please provide me with information about their health and any medical concerns with special instructions
• Please provide all contact information including for emergencies (e.g. veterinarian)
