Hi there! My name is Victoria and I am a 25-year-old, two-time university graduate.

I can't imagine a life without animals. I have had dogs (and cats!) my entire life ranging from small to giant breeds of varying personalities (outgoing, friendly, timid). My mother is a certified positive dog trainer which means I have grown up learning how to properly train and care for dogs using only positive reinforcement techniques. I have a good understanding of dog body language and introduce myself to all dogs in a way that they are comfortable with. I love dogs but when it comes to caring for them, it is about each dog's individual personality, not mine. Every dog is different and I like learning about each one (this goes for cats too!)

Currently I work in the field of mental health and addictions which meansI have a great amount of caring andempathy for all living beings. This field is only casual work and thus I have to supplement my income - what better way than to do it with loving and caring for animals? I am reliable, punctual and trustworthy.

I am available during most weekdays as I currently have only a casual position in my field. This means I am home all day to take care of your dogs in my home, or go to your home to check in there.I am flexible around scheduling and cancellations. However I would prefer short term and last minute requests as I do not get my schedule very far in advance so I can't commit to anything too far in the future. I have agood sized(although unfenced) backyard where I can take the dogs to play and do their business. I also live in a nice, family-oriented neighbourhood which is great for dog-walking. Dogs are welcome on my furniture if this is what they are used to at home (but will be encouraged to remain off of it if this is what their owners prefer). Icare forall dogs regardless of size, shape, coat or energy level, recognizing the wide range that exists within the canine population. I will walk or run with your dog depending on its needs, as well as play, feed and rest with him/her.

Having had animals that I considered family my whole life, I understand that leaving your cat or dog with someone new isn't something to be taken lightly. I can provide references and a clean, valid police records check at your request, shouldyou feel more comfortable with that!
