Hi everyone, my name is Keelin and I am a 20 year old students at UOttawa! I have two Rottweilers and fish have have pet-sit for cats and dogs the last few summers. I am looking for employment doing pet sitting because of my love and experience with animals!

I am incredibly flexible right now because I am currently out of school and this is my only employment. I am free Monday through Saturday and if you book in advance Sundays as well. I can walk, feed, and stay with your pets overnight! I would also be open to other activities you see fit.

Dog walks are typically 25-45 minutes depending on the energy level and age of your dog (i.e young dogs typically get more time). I can come over once or twice a day to both feed and walk. When staying over, I will do all of the above as well as stay over to take care of them at night.

When handling different dogs and there fun personalities I find that a slow approach usually works best. Getting to know them, earning trust with healthy treats and taking things at their pace.

In order to maintain safety for me and your pet I believe that keeping them on a leash at all times is essential. I also always bring snacks/treats in case of an emergency or if I need to regain your dogs attention.

In a past emergency my friends cat was outside in below freezing weather, I kept coming back to their house to let the cat in but it was no where to be found. I returned the next morning, stayed at there house for 4 hours to that the cat felt save and would come back and he did!

In cases of emergency I can perform doggy CPR and the heimlich. I am also capable of handling aggressive situations and reactive animals.

I have raised two puppies until adulthood and have taken care of senior dogs!

I unfortunately cannot service dogs at my house because I have two large dogs and fear they might have a negative interaction. Overall, I am great with large breed dogs and have lots of experience with them.
