Hi! I’m Yuhong, a caring, responsible, and experienced pet sitter who truly loves animals.

I have had a lifelong love for animals. My first dog came into my life when I was in high school, and she was part of my family for 15 wonderful years before she passed away. I also have extensive experience caring for cats and dogs with many different personalities, ages, and needs. Through my pet-sitting experience, I have cared for puppies, senior pets, shy or anxious pets, and even a blind dog. I truly enjoy getting to know each pet and helping them feel safe, comfortable, and loved.

I am a full-time homemaker and stay-at-home mom, so I spend most of my day at home taking care of my family, preparing meals, and managing our household. This allows me to provide guest pets with a lot of companionship and supervision throughout the day. I generally only leave home for short periods, such as grocery shopping every 3–4 days or occasionally taking my children to their activities. My husband also helps with transportation when needed. I am therefore able to spend most of the day with guest pets and provide close supervision.

We are a family of four: my husband, our two children (ages 13 and 11), and me. My children absolutely love animals and are gentle and respectful with them. They enjoy playing with visiting dogs in our yard and giving our visiting cats gentle attention, but we always respect each pet’s boundaries and comfort level.

We live in the beautiful British Properties area of West Vancouver, a quiet and pet-friendly residential neighbourhood with great places to walk. I usually take dogs for walks around our community for approximately 30–40 minutes at a time. I can provide walks according to each dog’s needs and routine.

For dog boarding, I can accommodate a maximum of two dogs at one time, and they must be from the same family. This allows me to give them plenty of individual attention and maintain a calm and comfortable environment. Dogs generally stay close to me during the day and are welcome to sleep with me at night.

For cats staying overnight, I have two separate rooms available so each cat can have their own quiet, safe, and comfortable space. Our home also has two friendly cats, Luna and Lulu. They are gentle and respectful of visiting pets. They do not bother visiting cats or dogs and prefer to stay in their own comfortable areas while quietly observing from a distance.

Our home has a fully fenced backyard with secure gates, providing a safe space for dogs to enjoy outdoor time and play. I always supervise pets when they are outside and make sure they are safe.

My services include boarding, daycare, drop-in care, feeding, fresh water, bathroom breaks, walks, playtime, companionship, and following each pet’s individual routine. I am comfortable administering basic medications when clear instructions are provided, and I can also provide basic brushing and grooming care when requested. I do not offer professional grooming or specialized training, but I am happy to reinforce simple commands and follow your existing training routine.

For daycare, I provide active supervision and companionship throughout the day. For boarding, pets are not left alone for extended periods, and I make every effort to keep their daily routine as normal and comfortable as possible.

My goal is for every pet staying with us to feel safe, relaxed, loved, and truly part of the family. I will treat your pet with the same patience, care, and attention that I would give my own.
