Thanks for visiting our profile! We’re lifelong animal lovers from Turkey, where cats and dogs are cherished and roam the streets freely. My partner, Yankı, and I are currently living in Victoria, where we’re both pursuing advanced degrees in sociology (my MA and his PhD).

My love for animals started in childhood, caring for the many street cats and dogs in my neighborhood. Yankı, who grew up surrounded by cats, has always had a special connection with them. He often looks after his father’s beloved cat, Ponçik, as well as friends’ cats. I also pet-sit for my friend’s cat, Silver, and recently spent two years living with four dogs, including my buddy Charlie, whom I cared for while my roommate was at work.

Since high school, we’ve shared homes with roommates who had dogs and cats, and we’re always the go-to people for pet care during travel or emergencies. We’re attentive to each pet’s unique needs and take pride in providing friendly, reliable care.
