Good care and a fun time are what my partner and I can guarantee for your pet! If your fur babies like a day out at the park or they love the outdoors, we live in Rockliffe which is the most dog-friendly neighbourhood in Ottawa! We also frequently take pets out on small hikes to explore the nearby parks if their parents are up for it and want their pets to have a vacation as well 😁

As a perk - you can put in a special request for some A+ photos as well of your pets as both of us have a knack for photography 😊

Your pet stays in a home, free to roam and explore, rather than in the confines of a 3-foot cage typical in kennels or pet hotels.

Grooming, Feeding, Cooking, Walking, Basic Training, Playing and administering basic medication - these are things I pride myself on being good with our four-legged friends. My experience stems from raising 15 dogs myself back in my home country, which includes 8 German Shepherds and 2 Pomeranians apart from the others. I have also adopted 5 other dogs who I have cared for since they were puppies as well. I'd like to say, I know the habits of quite a varied range of breeds.

My partner and I have flexible work-from-home jobs, so depending on if we have rover pets over we work from home or head to the office. We prefer to be home and not leave your pets at home alone in a new environment even if it is just for a bit, as we know how stressful it can be. We’d only accept a booking if we can be present throughout their stay 😊

Although have not professionally before - I am looking to pursue professional experience in dog training, grooming and care as a new career choice and this would be a stepping stone into it.

We live in Rockliffe - the most dog-friendly neighbourhood in Ottawa! With many parks and two off-leash fenced parks as well in the area, there is no shortage of fun walks or socializing opportunities for your pet depending on their personality! We live in an apartment but have built the space in our home to keep it open concept and have a nice big ( safely fenced ) balcony as well, where a lot of our pet guests loved lazing in amongst our many many pet-safe plants 😊

Our apartment has easily and comfortably accommodated 2 dogs, and we would not board more than 2 at a time for their comfort. Giving your pet much-deserved attention while you are away is our priority.

We are very active folks so your pets are guaranteed walks/visits to parks depending on their energy levels and social skills.

What information is important to know about your pet ahead of time?

1) How social is your dog? Do they get along with other dogs and cats?

2) Any specific feeding instructions?

3) Is your pet comfortable at home alone for small stretches of time? If so, for how long?

4) What is your dog's idea of good fun - out in the park, playing fetch, or any specific trick/game?

5) Any barking, Chewing habits or resource guarding?

6) Any reactiveness or aggressiveness towards other dogs?

7) Is your pet fully vaccinated?

8) Free from diseases ( Kennel cough, Fleas, Parasites, etc)

9) Is your pet Spayed/neutered?
