SPCA dog walker, Bark for Baja volunteer, kennel attendant, dog sledding musher, loving dog owner. Although I am new to Pawshake, I have plenty of experience working with all kinds of dogs! I am passionate about caring for our canine friends and hope to continue working with them through dog walking, dog sitting and training.

I am a firm believer that a tired dog is a happy dog. They are active by nature - some more than others! Just like us, they need socialization, stimulation and regular exercise to maintain their physical and mental health. For some dogs, a perfect outing is a slow wander on a wooded trail with plenty of time to sniff and explore. For others, it means a jog, swim or fast walk in combination with training or socialization with other dogs. Even 20 minutes of exercise a day can ward off many behavioural issues, obesity, arthritis, premature aging, digestive issues, etc. My familiarity with dog body language, pack composition, leash handling skills and basic obedience will help me identify your dog’s needs and create an individualized exercise and training program that aims improve their physical health, confidence and happiness in a safe environment.

I will be prompt and on a regular schedule, no matter the weather. No matter how busy your schedule, or wet and snowy the conditions, you can rest assured I will be there to care for your companion. In addition to walks and basic care, I am available to bring your dog to grooming appointments, to the veterinarian for a check-up, or to pick up dog food from a local store.
