Hello! Although I'm new to Pawshake, I've been a pet parent most of my 50+ life. This includes ownership of dogs, cats, guinea pigs, horses and even a mouse! I've cared for my friends' dogs, cats and horses many times, and done plenty of house-sitting, gardening and casual dog walking in the past; I've been a rescue volunteer caring for horses and ponies too. 

I'm currently between jobs, and I share my Westie (Harry) with my mom in Victoria, so I've got lots of time to walk, care for and love your furry friends. I am very fit and exercise daily with barre classes, spin/cycling and long walks and hikes, so I have plenty of energy! I know good spots for off-leash fun, trail walks, and beach play and am happy to provide walks from 15 minues to an hour or more, depending on need. I have frequenly cared for multiple pets (2 cats, 2 dogs, etc) and am familiar with every stage of life from energetic puppies and kittens, to slow, sniffing senior dogs, or cats that just want to cuddle. I'm also knowledgeable about rescues and their special needs, and have experience giving meds and caring for sick or injured animals with empathy and care.

I have a reliable vehicle to take dogs on walks, and to get myself to and from your house, or even to pick up supplies or medication if needed. I frequently visit the trails at UBC and the quiet roads and farm areas at Southlands, and in Delta to get dogs out of the city - but near me, there are lots of great parks and leafy neighborhood streets too. I welcome all pets (except vicious or dangerous ones) into my home, or I am also happy to visit your pets at your home during the day. 

I'm reliable, trustworthy, caring and fun-loving, and I'm looking forward to some quality time with your beloved pet family, as it truly makes me happy to see animals thriving, exercised, and well cared for.
