I grew up in a farm surrounded by cats, dogs, cows, sheep, pigs, chickens. Then I adopted my cat Vodka at 18 years old and she died at 17 years old. We had a long life together despite her bad health issues. She got hit by a car when she was 1 year old and was pregnant with 2 kittens. The vet told me the babies died in her belly and asked me what to do with her. I didn't understand that question. It was obvious I wasn't leaving without her. So I spend the next 16 years pressing her bladder 3 times a day because her muscles were atrophied. The last years I was also helping her poop. We were going everywhere together since I couldn't leave her alone. She travelled to Greece, la Reunion, Germany, France, etc. She died 3 years ago and still can't change my phone background. I've been volunteering at different rescues since then (Samtpfoten Neukolln in Berlin and SPCA in Montreal) always in the feline enrichment department. I know how to talk to cats and they love me and I love them. They are the sun of my life. Last December, I felt ready to adopt again, so I welcomed Nala and Watson in my house. I'm still training them but they've already done huge progress. I'm a student and I'm looking for a side job to make ends meet. I'm looking forward to meeting your companions!
