Definitely I'm a dog person. I grew up surrounded by pets. At home, we had a little bit of everything: a duck, parakeets, and many dogs — usually one at a time — until in the last few years, we ended up with three living together. Teodoro, a 12-year-old Dalmatian; Olimpia 12-years-old, who unfortunately is now in dog heaven; and Brutus 6-years-old, who was rescued by my sister.

When Teo was young, we used to run several kilometers together. Now that he’s older, he prefers to rest and occasionally go out for a calm sniff around the neighborhood. I miss him deeply, Teodoro is too old to handle a flight, so I can’t take him on a plane and live here in Canada. 

I truly believe dogs have that magical ability to heal the soul and be there through every stage of life. They are beautiful beings.

That’s why I’d love to go out for walks from time to time with one of your dogs. Being around them fills my heart.
