Hi!
I'm Hayley. I have been taking care of pets with my own business for over 18 years. I started when I was 12 years old with a sweet kitty named Rosie. I have worked in Vet Clinics, zoo's, animal shelters, dolphin facilities, and volunteered with animals. I worked at the Calgary zoo and Calgary Dog Walk!
I can administer medications, insulin, injections (subcutaneous fluids). I have studied animal care and behavior and can work with your pet using positive reinforcement. I have even taught my cat a few tricks and taught her how to walk on leash.
I am single, non-smoking, and active. I have a sassy tortie named Kalahari and have had her for 10 amazing years. She’s the light of my life! I’ve also had dogs all my life.
I'd love to take your dog for long walks, or play with your kitties or small pets. Rest assured your pets will be loved, entertained, and well cared for during my visit. I love all animals like they are my own. I look forward to meeting your fur family!
Petsitting (in your home): I typically only do weekends for petsitting in your home, but feel free to message me and we can chat about it.
Dogs $50 a day, $5 for additional dog. Cats $35 a day. Holiday rate: $60 a day.
Drop in visits: 30 mins-1 hour to feed, refill water, scoop litter, play, etc.
Dog walks: Evenings after 5 and weekends. I can do 15, 25, 30, 1 hour walks. Walking with dogs brings me so much joy! I love getting outside. If I’m staying in your home your dog will get a walk before work and after work. :)

Hayley was amazing with my girls! Sent me pictures every day and kept me posted the whole time. She took great care of my house too and went above and beyond what I expected. Thanks so much Hayley!!
Hayley is a wonderful pet sitter who has been pit sitting for my cats for over 3 years (since spring 2017).
Most recently, I had hired Hayley to give pain medication to my cat Charlie who was recovering from a urinary blockage. Charlie was still having urinary problems (crying, urinating inappropriately, etc.), and Hayley asked if he had been checked for a UTI (urinary tract infection). Thanks to Hayley's intelligent question and information, I checked into whether Charlie had been given a urinalysis to check for a UTI.
I found Charlie had not been checked for a UTI by either the vets at the emergency clinic or the vet who was filling in for my usual vet (my usual vet had been on vacation). I then got in touch with my usual vet who prescribed antibiotics/ Charlie's UTI cleared up and he got better -- thanks to Hayley, who alerted me to a possibility of what might be causing my cat pain.
I am so very grateful to Hayley for going above and beyond with her service! Hayley is an incredibly conscientious, kind, knowledgeable, and helpful pet sitter, who I am happy to highly recommend!
Animal husbandry, insulin injections, medications, worked in vet clinics as a vet assistant and volunteered with dogs with behavior issues. I have positive reinforcement animal training.
