Hi there!

This is Lei, an avid traveler and big animal lover. I recently relocated back to BC with my husband after our 10 years world adventure. These days we explore this magical wonderland, hiking, camping and road tripping, with occasional vacations abroad.

During my nomadic years, I chanced upon the concept housesitting and really appreciated each and every opportunity to love someone else’s fur baby when our life style didn’t quite allow us to have our own. I genuinely enjoy spending my days walking dogs and grooming cats. Their love, trust and company are simply pure and beautiful.

Although our travel has paused since covid, I figure my belly rubs and chin strokes don’t have to. I’m hoping to put my care and love for animals to good use by assisting busy professionals keeping their fluffy family members happy and helping fellow travellers leave their home with peace of mind. I understand how important a routine, a familiar environment and a warm and calm companion are for your loved ones. This is my goal to look after them just as you have been doing so you can relax knowing they are in good hands.

I’m currently available for:

• Overnight pet/house sitting anywhere in the Lower Mainland and Okanagan. I’d consider traveling further for longer sits or very special ones. I provide 24/7 around the clock care and presence for your precious babies during a sit, making sure they get all the exercise, attention and affection they absolutely deserve. Plants, mail, and other house chores will also be taken care of as needed and instructed. 
• Dog walking for 30/45/60 minutes in your neighbourhood. I'm a runner and thru-hiker. And a four-legged company makes every trail better. A steady paced run or an energetic walk is promised for the athletes, while a gentle stroll with many stops to smell the roses is for the seniors and couch potatoes. Interaction with other dogs will be avoided or closely monitored upon your request. 
• Home visits. It usually is a 30-60 minutes play date between me and your fur kid(s), during which water is changed, food provided or topped, litter cleaned, and love showered for your cats, pups, bunnies and other small animals. I can administer oral medicine if they are on any, and I’ll provide photo/video updates. In case your furry ones are timid around strangers, I’ll respect their space, provide quiet company and shorten my visit if preferred. I’ll leave your home in the same condition as when I find it.
