Hi. My name is Mike and my wife's name is Denise. We are in our 60's and are retired. We love animals. If our place looks a little cluttered it's because we've been decorating and the landlord has done some renovations. We currently have a 5 year old Chihuahua named Peanut. He is very sweet and friendly. He gets along with all animals and people, although sometimes he has issues with big dogs. He is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations, as we have done with all our pets.We live in a large 1 bedroom apartment that is close to parks and a beach. There really isn't any outside space for play, thus the parks and beach. I also have a car and my doggie loves car rides. We both have had recue dogs and cats. We have each had pets all our lives- dogs, cats, birds and I have experience with horses, too. We offer a relaxed environment and take our dog out for a half hour to an hour walk everyday, weather permitting. We are available everyday from 7:00am to 6:00pm. We take an animals' cues as to what to do for him/ her. And we introduce an animal slowly, never rushing or forcing. We would take your baby for a walk and some playtime while with us, as well as feed them.For looking after a pet at your place, we would feed them, play with them and interact with them. We could handle about 2 animals a day. We cannot take big dogs, only small and medium dogs. We would watch your baby from a few hours to all day. We like to give back and caring for animals is one way we do that. Another way that we are able to help is when and if we can afford it, we also will buy food for the neighbor's dog next door.
