Je suis une vraie passionée des animaux, en particulier les chiens et les chats ! Dès ma naissance j'ai pû cotoyer des animaux. J'ai eu la chance d'avoir 3 chiens, 2 chats, des cochons d'indes, mais aussi des poissons (j'étais plutôt bien entourée!!). Je sais donc m'occuper de ces animaux, que ce soit pour jouer avec eux, les promener, les nourrir, mais aussi changer la litière et ramasser les crottes. A plusieurs reprises, j'ai aussi pû garder le chien de mes grands parents. De plus, si les animaux ne sont pas trop réticents, j'arrive à leurs administrer des médicaments. Je peux aussi arroser les plantes et entrer le courrier si besoin.
Pour les visites à domicile, je peux rester entre 30 min et 1h30. Pour les promenades, cela peut être entre 30min et 1h, voir 1h15.&nbsp;
Dans la semaine, je suis habituellement disponible en soirée, voir en fin d'après-midi, sauf exceptions (pendant l'année scolaire, je ne peux pas du lundi au mercredi. Les week-ends où je peux presque tout le temps, pareil pour les vacances scolaires).
J'ai déménagé à Montréal l'année dernière pour mes études et la présence d'animaux me manque. C'est donc pour cela que j'aimerai devenir gardienne pour être en présence d'animaux. Je pourrais ainsi m'occuper de vos boules de poils après mes cours et les week ends.

I have a cat of my own who would like to be walked on a leash everyday (actually 3 times a day). I am used to caring pets for family and friends. Animals brings me great joy and it's always such a pleasure to be able to help others taking care of their beloved pet member. As a cat friend/roommate myself, I totally understand the anxiety when one has to be away from home. Please be assured that I will take good care of your fur friends as I would my own pet.
Service: Home visits, overnight house sitting. 
For home visits, I will spend at least 50 minutes each time, longer if they prefer my presence. I will do all the usual chores like changing water, providing food, clean the litter box, and I will always play with your pet, give them chin rubs, have them run around a bit and hunt whatever toy they prefer to chase after. For more timid cats who prefer to hide when sitters come around, I will still make full efforts to have them trust me and entertain them (I know some cats just like to watch people wiggle their toys like watching a movie -- that's also satisfying for them!). 
If you would like me to come over twice a day, please also let me know your preferred schedule and all the specific needs of your pet!
I also provide overnight house sitting if needed. I'm retired so my schedule is pretty flexible!

En tant qu'amie/colocataire d'un chat, je comprends parfaitement l'anxiété d'une personne qui doit s'absenter de son domicile. Soyez assurés que je prendrai soin de vos amis à fourrure comme je le ferais pour mon propre animal.

Pour les visites à domicile, je passerai au moins 50 minutes à chaque fois, plus longtemps s'ils préfèrent ma présence. Je ferai toutes les tâches habituelles comme changer l'eau, donner de la nourriture, nettoyer la litière, et je jouerai toujours avec votre animal, je lui frotterai le menton, je le ferai courir un peu et chasser le jouet qu'il préfère. Pour les chats plus timides qui préfèrent se cacher quand les baby-sitters viennent, je ferai toujours des efforts pour qu'ils me fassent confiance et pour les divertir (je sais que certains chats aiment regarder les gens agiter leurs jouets comme s'ils regardaient un film - c'est aussi satisfaisant pour eux !)

Je peux aussi faire du gardiennage de nuit si nécessaire. Je suis à la retraite, mon emploi du temps est donc assez flexible !

My first dog arrived when I was 9 years old. I really wanted a dog and asked my parents to adopt a pet. My mother didn't approve, explaining that a pet in the first place is a big responsibility. She explained all of the things that I would need to know in order to care for a pet like raising, caring, cleaning poop, walking three times a day every day, they can get sick, behave badly etc. She was waiting for my desire to have a dog to be free from emotion and to be based primarily on responsibility. I learned a very important lesson about relationships with pets, and later I finally got my first dog. She lived with us for about 10 years and died of cancer.
Therefore, I can honestly say that I have experience in taking care of pets since the age of 9. Since then, pets have been an integral part of my existence. These are my companions, best friends, and family members. I am equally in love with both dogs and cats, who have accompanied me since childhood. In 2019, I moved to Canada and my three pets were left in the care of my mother - a dog and two cats, which I still support. Both cats have been domesticated since they were ferrel. One of them was a newborn and was left on the street by a stray cat-mother. I fed and raised him from newborn age. Now this cat is big and beautiful and has a lot of dog habits, because from birth it was brought up by people and imitated my dog. I also adopted a 2 month old kitten who I found on the street.
At my house I have a dog and a cat. These guys came as a package with my husband.

Hi there! My name is Maya, and I live and work in NDG. I am the proud mom of a Pitbull named Tony and a cat named Blink. I am an assistant technician who works with blind animals everyday and has lots of experience with them. In my "free" time, I am on the board for an animal rescue in Cayo Coco, Cuba. I fundraiser, am I charge of adoptions, and go visit yearly to help build a bigger, safer sanctuary. I have worked with animals for the last 12 years, but have had pets my whole life and have been volunteering since I can remember. I am comfortable and have experience administering medications, and I am comfortable with animals who might not be as comfortable with strangers as we would wish. While working at the SPCA, I specialized in "aggressive" behaviour and rehabilitation. I have a calm demeanour, and am ready to take care of your pets as if they were on of my own. Unfortunately, I cannot allow other dogs into the house as Tony is quite territorial- but I am willing to walk or visit your home! I am motivated to join this app because I know the difficultly of finding someone to care for our fur babies when it's vacation time, or simply, when we need an extra hand. I also know we only want what is best for our little loves, and I promise I will give nothing but the best attention and care. Unfortunately, I cannot bring your pets home. Tony is a rescue and is not quite comfortable with strangers in the house. If it were urgent, I MAY be able to arrange something. I work 100% from home , so your pet will not be alone during the day. I live with my boyfriend, who also works from home and will be available and willing to help me with walks and petsitting.

Je suis en télétravail à 100%, donc votre animal ne sera pas seule pendant la journée. J'habite avec mon copain, qui fait du télétravaille et sera disponible et porté à m'aider avec les marches et le gardiennage.
