Bonjour !
Merci beaucoup !
Olivier

Hi there, my name is Mia! I love all animals ..even those that are traditionally less appreciated such as reptiles, bugs and rats. I have done pet sitting on a few occasions, mostly for friends but also via a different online platform overseas where I took care of a lovely dog for a month in Utrecht.
I have also volunteered as a dog walker at the SPCA in the past. I genuinely crave and truly cherish interaction with animals which is why I want to continue pet sitting. I have experience with all kinds of animals, am comfortable administering medications and taking care of animals with special needs. I am good at reading animals and will take extra care with those who need it. I will be sure to spend quality time with them during visits or walks, doing what is necessary first such as feeding them and then being sure to set aside time to give lots of affection!
My favorite thing is when people are surprised that their normally very fearful or timid animal allowed me close to them. I take personal pride in being trustworthy and dependable so you can put your mind at ease knowing that your much-loved pets are in good hands.

In my community, I'm known as the go-to dog sitter! My innate love for dogs, gentle approach, playful spirit, and boundless energy make it easy for me to earn the trust of pups - and the appreciation of their owners. I bring a lot of fun and attentiveness into every walk or visit, because I truly care for them and feel fortunate to be part of their lives.
Although my busy lifestyle hasn't allowed me to have a dog of my own (yet!), I actively seek out their compang to feel truly fulfilled.
I have a lot of dog sitting experience in suburban, rural and beach settings, as well as with animals who have specific dieting needs. I do not shy away from dogd who have a lot of energy to spare, because I can totally relate!
I've had the most experience with breeds like Cocker Spaniel, Beagle, Jack Russell, Lagotto Romagnolo (italian water dog) and Shiba Inu.

Pet care experience
I have nine (9) years of experience as a pet sitter (cats, dogs, reptiles) and dog walker. I can be a calming, grounding presence for nervous animals, as well as an enthusiastic, playful presence for the ones who have lots of energy to burn! I know that every animal, like every human, has different needs and I consider myself to be very attentive to them.I probably love cuddling, playing, and going for walks just as much as your pet does (oops). I have some experience with positive-reinforcement training and I'm always looking to expand on my knowledge. I have an MA in Educational Psychology and work as a coach with children and young adults while I'm not pet sitting :)

Safety, trust & environment
It's really important for me that I maintain your pet's routine while you're away, especially if I'm sitting with them overnight. If your cat or dog eats meals at 8 AM and 5 PM, that is when I'll want to feed them as well. If they're used to snuggles before bed time, I'll be the big or little spoon! I want to give them minimal disruptions and the most stability, especially if they have some separation anxiety or are sensitive to change.

Information Despina X. would like to know about your pet
I'll want to know about their temperament, daily routine, how they communicate their needs, possible reactivity, and any notable experiences with past sitters, humans, or other animals.

A typical day
I love to cuddle, play, take dogs for long walks wherever they love going, and reward them for being good, however you spoil them! I really want to keep things consistent so that whatever you've tried to teach them is reinforced with me. Dog parks are only an option for me if you can confirm that your dog plays appropriately and is used to the park and the dogs in it.

Animals have always been a big part of my life. Caring for these genuine, loving creatures brings me immense joy, and I know firsthand how important it is to find someone trustworthy to look after them.Beyond my personal experience as a pet owner, I have a deep understanding of animal behavior, which helps me ensure their well-being, comfort, and happiness. I love spending time outdoors, going for walks, and engaging pets in fun, stimulating an environmental enrichment. Whether it's a playful pup or a cuddly cat, I'm here to provide the best care, attention, and affection they deserve!Being a pet sitter is more than just a professional activity- it's a way to share my love for animals and support pet parents by giving them peace of mind.I'd be thrilled to care for your furry friend and create a bond with them ‍PS: I'm not boarding cats or dogs at home by now, unfortunately...my dog is a senior lady and won't be comfortable with a new friend around, at least at first.

Hi there! My name is Maya, and I live and work in NDG. I am the proud mom of a Pitbull named Tony and a cat named Blink. I am an assistant technician who works with blind animals everyday and has lots of experience with them. In my "free" time, I am on the board for an animal rescue in Cayo Coco, Cuba. I fundraiser, am I charge of adoptions, and go visit yearly to help build a bigger, safer sanctuary. I have worked with animals for the last 12 years, but have had pets my whole life and have been volunteering since I can remember. I am comfortable and have experience administering medications, and I am comfortable with animals who might not be as comfortable with strangers as we would wish. While working at the SPCA, I specialized in "aggressive" behaviour and rehabilitation. I have a calm demeanour, and am ready to take care of your pets as if they were on of my own. Unfortunately, I cannot allow other dogs into the house as Tony is quite territorial- but I am willing to walk or visit your home! I am motivated to join this app because I know the difficultly of finding someone to care for our fur babies when it's vacation time, or simply, when we need an extra hand. I also know we only want what is best for our little loves, and I promise I will give nothing but the best attention and care. Unfortunately, I cannot bring your pets home. Tony is a rescue and is not quite comfortable with strangers in the house. If it were urgent, I MAY be able to arrange something. We live in a lower duplex with a fully fenced yard 13 ft to be exact). Before booking, I would love to hear a little bit about your pets. I also require an emergency contact if we are a match and decide to work together!
