I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have always been a huge animal lover. I’ve had dogs of my own for many years, and I’ve always felt that animals have their own personalities, quirks and needs. I really enjoy getting to know them and figuring out what makes them comfortable and happy.

I currently have two large, reactive dogs of my own, so I know firsthand that not every dog is comfortable around other dogs or enjoys the typical busy dog-walking environment. Living with reactive dogs has taught me a lot about patience, reading body language, managing triggers and, most importantly, giving dogs the space they need to feel safe and relaxed.

I’ve also been involved in fostering dogs through a rescue in Thailand. Being part of their journey and helping dogs who have had difficult starts in life has made me even more passionate about animal welfare and giving dogs the patience, understanding and care they deserve.

I’m starting my dog-walking service because I genuinely love spending time with dogs and thought it would be a great way to do something I enjoy while helping other dog owners in my community. I’m new to offering dog walking professionally, but I bring a lifetime of experience as a dog owner, experience with reactive dogs and rescue dogs, and a very caring and responsible approach.

My walks are 30 minutes and are one-on-one, so your dog gets my full attention. I like to let dogs take their time sniffing, exploring and enjoying their walk rather than rushing them from one place to another. I’m happy to walk puppies, adult dogs and seniors, and I’m especially happy to work with dogs who prefer some space from other dogs or aren't suited to busy group walks.

I know how important it is to feel comfortable with the person looking after your dog. I’ll treat your dog as an individual, follow the routines and instructions you give me, and keep their safety and comfort at the top of my list.

I’m based in the Newmarket area and am starting with a small number of clients so I can give each dog plenty of attention. I’d love the chance to meet you and your dog and hopefully become their new favourite walking buddy!
