Hi! I’m Yago, a passionate and reliable pet lover with lifelong experience caring for animals. I’ve had dogs throughout my life and currently care for my 12-year-old cat, which has taught me patience and attention to the special needs of senior pets.

During visits, I make sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved. I play with them, give plenty of affection, feed them, and check all their basic needs such as hydration, comfort, and hygiene, including cleaning litter boxes or outdoor waste when needed. Dog walks can last anywhere from 30 minutes to up to 2 hours, depending on the pet’s energy level and the owner’s preference.

If any concern or emergency arises, I pay close attention to clinical signs and behavioral changes. I have 7 years of experience working in a hospital, which helps me observe health indicators carefully and communicate clear updates if something unusual appears.

I always keep owners updated with photos, videos, and messages, or any communication method they prefer.

I also have experience supporting animal rescue efforts. In 2024, I volunteered during the floods in southern Brazil, helping care for rescued cats in a shelter created at my university. Additionally, when my wife and I got married, we asked guests to donate pet food instead of gifts to support an animal protection organization. The initiative was featured in local newspapers and a radio interview.

I also have about 10 years of experience using clicker training with positive reinforcement, teaching simple behaviors such as giving a paw. I’m a very patient and attentive person, which helps me build trust with animals and make them feel comfortable and safe while you’re away. 🐾
