I am a mature, responsible 30-year-old currently residing in Kitsilano. 

I have recently returned from a year in Australia where I was regularly hired by pet owners on Pawshake to walk their dogs, and take care of their homes, pets, and plants while away on holidays. I have multiple 5 star reviews across various house and pet sitting sites and would be happy to share them with you. 

I am happy taking dogs on short or long walks, and I especially love going to parks and playing fetch. I am patient with pets with special needs and am comfortable administering medication and following a set feeding schedule. When I'm in your home with your pet, I make a concerted effort to be around them as much as possible to make sure they're receiving the best care possible. 

Pet- and House-Sitting Experience 
I have myriad experiences caring for animals, including dogs (from daschsunds to big hounds), cats, and fish. I keep a tidy home, always clean up after myself, and I love watering plants and watching them grow. I'm not afraid of light housework, like vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and taking out kitty litter. 

I also spent a year volunteering at the SPCA, so I have experience dealing with a variety of animals (cats, dogs, rats, hamsters, Guinea pigs, etc), cleaning their cages, feeding them, and helping them interact with prospective adoptive families. 

I am happy to follow all routines set up by you such that your pets can remain feeling safe and comfortable in their homes. I am also happy to make as many phone calls or send as many update pictures as you would like.

I am an avid rock climber, cyclist, scuba diver, ocean lover, world traveler, and book worm. I formerly worked in science communication at non-profits and corporations, and I'm currently taking a career break to explore the world and my inner self.
