nine year old son and I are active, happy

outdoors and would love to spend time with your dog walking, running and playing! Our house has a standard size yard to run about in.

I was a pet sitter as a kid and want to share this joy with my son. He loves animals and has a good intuition about when they are shy or timid and is gentle with them, or alternatively if they're

brave and high energy he is ready to have fun! We've now been involved with Pawshake for several years and it has been a great experience. We'd loved having all kinds of dogs come stay with us.

Last minute bookings are great for us but the flip side is that we sometimes have trouble making plans far in advance. So apologies to anyone making their arrangements months ahead of time, but we may not be able to accommodate these requests. We also have turned down requests for some very long stays as it’s hard to say goodbye to dogs when they've been here for a long time and sometimes difficult to accommodate logistically. Although we've had dogs come back multiple times, which we love. Weekends and stays up to a couple weeks are ideal. So we'd love to hear from you if this is what you might be looking for.
