Hi!

I’m a 21-year-old exchange student from Amsterdam, currently studying Psychology at UBC in Vancouver. Since moving here, I really miss having animals around, and caring for pets is something that genuinely makes me happy.

I have hands-on experience with my own dog, as well as regularly walking and caring for dogs of neighbors and friends back in the Netherlands. I’m especially comfortable with dogs of different sizes and personalities. I enjoy playful walks, but I’m also attentive to a pet’s needs, energy level, and routines. Safety and well-being are very important to me: I always keep dogs leashed where required, stay alert to their surroundings, and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for during walks or overnight stays.

I love being active outdoors — walking, hiking, and exploring nature — which makes long or energetic walks something I truly enjoy. In my free time, I like running, snowboarding, visiting coffee spots, and photography, so I’m often outside and moving. I’m calm, patient, and responsible, and I take pet care seriously.

As an exchange student, I also enjoy meeting new people and getting to know the local community. I believe getting to know a country includes getting to know its people — and their animals too! I’m friendly, reliable, flexible with my schedule, and happy to communicate clearly through the platform.
