Hello! My name is Katie and I am a graduate student at the University of Waterloo. I grew up with cats and for a period of five years I raised, socialized, and found homes for over 30 feral kittens and cats. I have worked with the Humane Society, Friends of Abandoned Pets and the Cat Rescue Network (Ottawa). I have plenty of experience with dogs and am looking for more, as I plan to adopt a German Shepherd in a year. (I'll do a special deal for anyone who needs care for their purebreed GSD!)
I live in a great sized townhouse with three floors. The backyard is too small for any fun, but I live close to the Iron Horse Trail and a decent walk to Victoria Park.

I am absolutely fantastic at working with pets that appear unfriendly to strangers. Having raised feral cats and kittens, I have a lot of experience working with animals that are scared of humans and tentative to interact. I am a very energetic and active person. I love going for runs and walks and throwing around a frisbee or ball. Your dog will certainly get a great workout with me! However, I am also no stranger to Netflix binges. If your pet prefers to rest, I am absolutely happy to accomodate.
