Animals have always held a special place in my heart. Whether it was cuddling a family pet, nursing injured birds back to health or volunteering at the local vet, I’ve always been committed to the well-being of all creatures.
I have a wide range of experience caring for animals including dogs, cats, rabbits and birds. My first pet in Calgary was Lulu the rabbit, she lived to the ripe age of 11! Despite her small size, I never met an animal more demanding of midnight snuggles. Then along came Vida (14) and Zeppa (13) who have been in my life since they were 8 weeks old, it has been a wonderful journey and they’ve tested my ability to care for their needs since day 1! Never one to pass up the opportunity to learn and care, I have fostered baby chicks and quails, next year we will be fostering ducklings!

- Animal First Aid and CPR Certified
- Administering oral, ear and eye medications
- Caring for senior dogs (deft) and cats
