I grew up on a farm surrounded by animals. From a young age I learned to respect and care for them - grooming, nail clipping, giving oral medications and just cuddling with them! I realize how animals truly are part of the family and they provide so much love and happiness to their owners. In my adulthood I have owned hamsters, cats and fish - our family currently owns 2 cats named Cleo and Chai. My daughter loves animals as much as I do and she spends a lot of time volunteering at Butterfield Acres. I have been a volunteer dog walker with Cochrane Humane Society and I often pet sit for neighbours and friends. I really enjoy the opportunity to interact with other animals. I appreciate having dependable, trustworthy sitters for our own pets so I'd like to offer that to others. Since I don't have any family in Calgary, I appreciate knowing that our cats are well-loved by their sitters when we are away. I'm a mother of two teenagers and I work part time as a church coordinator. I am fairly flexible with my availability and I am always up for a good walk or two with a furry friend. Unfortunately our cats don't love meeting other animals so I can't offer dog or cat care in our home but I am happy to do small animal pet visits in your home or dog care and dog walking. Please contact me with any questions you may have or if you would like to meet.
