I began caring for pets at 16, back when I thought raising a puppy and a hamster simultaneously was a totally reasonable idea (it was… ambitious). That early start gave me experience with both high-energy young pets and seniors, especially as I supported my dog through his later years and illness. When I moved abroad for school, cats became my main companions. I currently share my home with two senior shelter cats, and caring for them is part of my everyday rhythm. Each year when I return home, I also help my mom with stray cat rescue—feeding, neutering, administering medication, and occasionally bottle-feeding kittens. I approach every animal gently, patiently, and with care.

I’ve been working as a pet sitter for the past 6 months 🐾 and will continue offering pet sitting services to pet parents through the Pawshake platform. Being responsible and keeping routines steady is always my first priority.

I’m currently on leave from my PhD studies at UBC, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for your pets without rushing the process. I’m available daily and happy to adapt to your pet’s routine, not the other way around. I keep their environment safe and predictable, follow your instructions closely, and minimize stress by preserving their familiar habits—food, play, sleep, and surroundings all included.
