Hi, I'm Ross! Originally from Ireland, I've been lucky to call Vancouver home for the past decade ☘️

I am a lifelong animal lover who understands that our pets aren't just animals, they are family. Because of this, I know exactly how much trust it takes to leave your furry friend in someone else's hands.

My home is a clean, calm, and cozy condo where your dog will receive my full, undivided attention. I do not have any resident pets, meaning your dog will be the exclusive star of the show during their stay - perfect for pups who prefer a peaceful environment without the stress of other animals around. We are incredibly lucky to have fantastic green spaces super close by, including the beautiful off-leash dog park down at New Brighton Park (by the ocean), as well as a bunch of parks and gardens just steps away.

I structure my entire day around giving your pooch the routine and companionship they thrive on. Your dog is more than welcome to curl up next to me on the sofa for plenty of lap cuddles, belly rubs, and attention!

I am highly patient and adaptive when it comes to hands-on handling. If your pup is a bit nervous or adjusting to a new environment, I focus on giving them plenty of space, keeping the condo quiet, and letting them open up at their own pace. For energetic puppies or dogs working on basic training, I am more than happy (and enjoy) reinforcing your positive reinforcement techniques, commands, and house manners to keep their routine consistent.

Professionally, my background is rooted in teaching, design, administration and client communication, which means I take reliability, safety, and clear communication very seriously. I am highly organized and fully prepared for unexpected situations; in the rare event of an emergency, I have rapid transport ready to safely and immediately access the nearest 24/7 veterinary clinic (9 minute drive from my home). You can expect prompt replies, and regular text/photo updates so you always have total peace of mind while you're away.
