Patience for your senior dogs and puppies

About Bee
Hello, my name is Bee Murray. I feel lucky to have always had pets in my life, and I offer dog walking, drop-in visits for cats and dogs, and pet sitting.
I have cared for my own animals all my life and provided pet care others for more than ten years. Most of my experience is with cats and dogs, including senior pets who need extra patience and attention. I am also open to drop-in visits for other kinds of pets—I once cared for a tarantula named Rosie!
I am reliable, attentive, and respectful of the trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. We can talk about your communication preferences, and I am happy to send updates, photos, and/or videos after each walk or visit.
A little more about me: I have been retired since 2025. Before that, I worked in support roles with people with autism and developmental disabilities—work I loved very much. Now, I am happy to spend more time doing another thing I love: caring for pets.
I miss having dogs of my own, but it is not an option where I currently live. Pet care lets me stay connected with animals, use my years of experience, and give you peace of mind knowing your pet is with someone mature, dependable, and kind.
I may be new to this platform, but I am certainly not new to pet care. I can provide references if requested, and I will certainly collect reviews as I get established here. A few of the pets I have cared for are included below in case you would like to know more.
If you think I might be a good fit for your pet, I would be happy to hear from you. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to arrange a meet-and-greet.
Babe was a sweet senior Rottweiler cross in the neighbourhood whose favourite outing was a slow daily walk to the ocean, where she barked and pawed at rocks in the shallow pools. We lived nearby and helped make sure she had water, shade, and a safe way home when she was too tired to walk back. Eventually, Babe came to live with us, and I loved adjusting to her changing needs as she aged.
Nelly Belly was a 17-year-old abandoned cat who was fierce, fragile, and feral. After I adopted her, I gave her time, space, and patience, and slowly earned her trust. She spent her final days resting in sunbeams on the carpet.
Leonard is my current cat. He is sixteen and has been with me since 2022. When I met him at the SPCA, he was healing from an injury and wearing a cone, so I began calling him Leonard Cone. He has made himself very much at home.
Pony Boy, was a sweet girl who I walked weekly since she was a pup on up into her adult years. She liked her treat ball, cuddles and walks to the park to play. She was a real ham bone and gave side glances as though she was thinking of pouncing. She never did
Nico was a rescue cat I cared for while her owner was moving. She was vocal, mischievous, and a little nervous at first, but with a calm approach and a bit of patience, she quickly went from hiding to asking for attention.
Maple and Charlie are sweet dogs I spend time with when their humans are away. They like walks on the trails and playing with their toys, and especially exploring all the smells along the way...
