I am an enthusiastic animal lover of all creatures big and small. I am a qualified veterinary technician who is happy to extend my knowledge and expertise to my pet sitting duties! Whether that means giving specific medications, applying basic at-home treatments or supplementing your pet’s diet - I am happy to assist!
I have a university degree in both Animal Care and Veterinary Technology and I have been working in the veterinary field for the past 3 years.
Originally from Ireland, I moved to BC just over one year ago. I decided to settle in Victoria last May 2018 due to the sheer beauty of the area and the wildlife it contains.
I do not own a vehicle but I love to go walking, hiking and biking regularly and I hope to be able to do this in the very near future with some lovely neighbourhood pets for company!
I am comfortable walking up to 3 medium sized dogs, 4 small dogs or 1 big dog at a time. Walks are up to 45 minutes at a rate of $25. Each 15 minutes additional will cost a further $5.
I am confident to take care of a variety of animals including cats, dogs, rabbits, small furries including hamsters, guinea pigs and other rodents as well as the more exotic species of reptiles and birds. Also open to caring for horses and the more unusual domestic pets including goats, sheep, chickens and pigs.
House visit duration will depend on the amount of pets and care required but will typically be 30 minutes on average. As I do not own a car I can only facilitate pets who are within the general vicinity (5km radius).
Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you would like to know more!
