About Michelle
Animal Nature lover over here!
Ever since I was a child my favorite room in any house was always outside! My fasination with animals was eventually became my focus for travel, and ultimatly, my university studies here at the U of A. Graduated 2009 With a Bachelor of Science in Animal Biology, which included many helpful courses on Animal behavior, physiology, and disease.
Thoughout my career as a biologist I have periodically worked caring for live animals, and now that my two dear four-legged companions have both departed, I am desperately in need of a dog to take me out for MY walks! Forest walks and off-leash is absolutely possible after afew meetings around the snowy neighbourhood streets to get to know each other better.
Professional Experience:
- Edmonton humane society- Animal Care Attendant
-Royal Alberta Museum- Live Animal Care Attendant
Am experienced with most dog breeds (expert level Collie, Sheppard, Terrier), will require you to be present for the first minute of our first walk, so they know I am 'part of your pack'. I currently recovering from a head trauma, and am out walking every afternnon and evening (1-2hrs/day) and would love the opportunity to have your wee pal's join me at whatever pace they need. I understand well the unending energy of a younge collie and its ball, the need for a towel with the Basset, the uncanny ability of a Lab to find, and roll in, the only muddy puddle around, and that above all else...
The chihuahua is usually in charge!
thank-you for considering me,
yours,
Michelle
