Hello, my name is Meghan, I'm 20 years old and I am in the crown point area of Hamilton. I am able to travel anywhere in Hamilton including Stoney Creek, Ancaster, and Dundas.

I love animals and have quite a bit of experience of looking after other animals that aren’t my own including fostering three guide dogs with the Lions Foundation of Canada's Guide Dogs where two of them became guide dogs.

Experience:

3 years in fostering guide dogs

2 years in pet sitting

With the guide dogs, my responsibilities were raising a puppy for a year and training them to be a well behaved and trained puppy. I'd take them to public places so they can get used to different things like crowds, loud noises, and not get excited when meeting someone new.

One of them became a guide dog for autism and the other for the blind. I also have my own pet which is a 2 year old cat. 

My services include:

Dog walking - 30 minute walk in city parks or neighbourhood

House sitting - I can water plants, dust, bring in any mail or packages,

One home visit a day

Two home visit a day

I’m happy to play with your pet, walk them, water your plants, and even clean up any messes they make as it’s likely to happen with animals or even just be nearby if your pet is too shy to come out to say hello. However, I’m unable to house any other animals at my house during this time. 

I will be going away for college in a few months but I’m flexible all summer
