Bonjour!

I’ve spent my whole life surrounded by dogs, we had three English Setters as our family dogs back in France. They weren't just pets; they were my childhood companions and my shadow. Living in Calgary for work is a great adventure, but coming home to a quiet house is what I find the hardest. I truly miss the energy, the personality, and the bond you only get with a dog.

Having raised three Setters from pups to seniors, I’m very comfortable with the 'real' side of dog care. I know how to handle high-energy breeds, dogs who follow their nose, or those who just need a patient friend. I am also a runner and would be more than happy to go for a run with your dog if they need to burn off extra energy! 

My Approach & Reliability:
I take a very calm and observant approach, especially with shy or anxious dogs; I believe in letting them come to me at their own pace to build real trust. Having managed senior dogs, I am experienced in administering oral medications and strictly following medical or dietary routines. In case of an emergency, I am quick to react, highly organized, and will immediately contact you and your preferred vet while ensuring the dog stays calm. 

House-Sitting & Extra Care:
My current apartment is a bit too small to host dogs comfortably, but I am more than happy to do house-sitting at your place! As a 'French touch', if you’re okay with it, I can even prepare a typical French "Petit Pot-au-Feu" for your dog (a healthy slow-cooked mix of lean meat and carrots) to make them feel extra loved while you're away.

I’ll treat your dog with the same care and love I gave my own family dogs back home.
