Hi, I'm a hardworking student (23 year old) looking to make some cash while doing my Master's at uOttawa.

MOTIVATION
My motivation to become a sitter is that as a student living away from home, I miss my pets of course.

I'm consistent, patient, and affectionate when caring for all animals. I have experience with highly shy or anxious animals such as my mom's rescues.

{Services}

Service #1. Walks
Guaranteed 1 long walk or 2 shorter walks
per day of 1 hour - 30 minutes (depending on the dog etc.). I make sure to include one-on-one play time and offer enrichment activities: swim, dog park, sandbox, Dow's Lake park trip, play ~ feel free to request specifics.🥎.

Walk routine 🐕‍🦺🚶‍♀️
- Pack enough treats, toys, doggie bags, inflatable water dish and water.
- Gear up: harness/leash/clothes.
- Bathroom stop outside.
- Location: Dow's Lake or nearby in Little Italy/China Town (near Centretown).
Optional: fenced dog park off Bronson (unless your dog is not used to other dogs).
After walk, as needed: 🧼🫧
- wash in my tub (after mud etc.)
- brush out burrs, wipe paws after walks. *Please pack your preferred doggie shampoo or brush, if interested.

Service 2. Home Visit
Home visit routine:
- Stop by once or twice a day, feeding once or twice.
- Walks, play, or snuggle / stay for company.
- Check in texts and photos.
- Litter changes 😺 / bathroom breaks 🐶
*Plant watering also available, by request.

Service 3. Overnight Stay
- Feeding once or twice a day. Please indicate proportions & bring scoop.
- Outside bathroom break every few hours, after meals + morning + bedtime. *Please bring pee pads and litter box if needed.
- Pet has free roam, including den area and bedroom, hall, kitchen. Pics in home gallery.


Service 4. Pet Upkeep Assistance
- If you are elderly &/or unable to take your pet for a vet, training, or grooming appointment I can do this and take notes on the medications or instructions. I can attend to support or pickup items from the petstore.

Mobility: Please know that I don't have a car so I likely can't do home visits outside of Ottawa (e.g., Orleans, Kanata, Arn Prior, Gloucester).

Basic records required 📋 : I only accept pets that have had their regular shots this year (rabies, fleas, ticks, & worms). Vet info is also appreciated.

- Kindly provide these documents to me in advance or as physical copies at drop off. Why? In the remote event that it is medically necessary, I cannot ensure a vet will accept them unless I can provide up to date vaccination records. Thank you for your cooperation.

- ON-LEASH guarantee, even at the dog park.
- Tick-check after any walk in long grass.
- I'm careful to avoid areas w/ broken glass.

• Medical/Transport 🚗
- Pet first aid kit owned for minor injury like a nail tear (bandage), tick removal, etc.
- Centretown vet in contacts 📞
- I'm CPR and First Aid trained. If for any reason I need to call the vet, I have a driver's license (5 years experience).
- Failsafe measure: I'll drive a CommunAuto or travel to the vet's in a pet friendly Uber.

- I check the forecast to walk in cooler evening when temp. > 25-28°C.
- Always take a water dish on walks
- Avoid hot, black pavement (burns paws).
- Never leave unattended without AC at the house, and not for more than 1-2 hours.

Please message and I'm happy to arrange prior to or at the time of the drop off (e.g., go for walk together).
- Bachelor apartment with plenty of room.
- No loose items open or accessible from animal height that are known to cause problems (cords, hair ties, meds, plants, small choke hazards, chocolate, etc.).
