Animals have been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember — I grew up with dogs, spent my twenties fostering cats and dogs in need of a temporary home, and now share my life with Luna, my sweet and sociable American Eskimo-Poodle mix. Fostering taught me a lot about helping animals feel safe and settled in a new environment quickly — whether they're anxious, energetic, or somewhere in between.
