We’re Dave and Candice — lifelong dog lovers with a soft spot for dogs who need a little extra understanding. We have a pet-free and child-free home, making it a calm, quiet space where your dog will get our full attention.

We have extensive experience with reactive and sensitive dogs. Our beloved Ella was part of our family for 10 years after being rehomed twice due to her reactivity toward people and other dogs. With patience, structure, and training, we helped her feel safe and confident again. That experience taught us how to read canine body language, manage triggers, and create an environment where dogs of all temperaments can thrive.

We’re also comfortable caring for senior dogs and those who require medication or special accommodations — just let’s chat beforehand to make sure we can meet your pup’s needs. 

We take pride in providing a safe, predictable, and loving environment for every dog in our care. While we don’t have a fenced yard, we live near several parks and scenic walking trails, where we’ll take your dog on leash walks tailored to their comfort and energy level. We don’t visit off-leash parks, as we prefer controlled, calm settings.

We’re happy to follow any routines or rules you’ve set at home — whether that means maintaining feeding schedules, respecting boundaries, or allowing couch cuddles if that’s your dog’s style.
