My name is Jill and I have recently returned from living abroad in Sydney, Australia. I began offering pet services on Pawshake successfully in Sydney and have decided to continue here in Toronto since it brought me so much joy! I'm 30 years old, a university graduate with a very flexible schedule. I am a huge pet lover who is very energetic and happy. I love to be outdoors, visit parks and beaches, read, walking and hiking, and writing. I grew up with numerous different pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, hamsters and guinea pigs. I have always loved being around animals.

After my last dog passed away from old age (16 years old), I really wanted to get another dog but I was working 60+ hour weeks and I knew my heart couldn't take being away from my dog that long, plus doggy day care wasn't really a thing in my area. Then I decided to move to Australia and I knew I wouldn't be able to bring a dog with me so again I put off getting a dog. As a result, I have decided the best option for me would be to help other people who work full time and don't want their pet at home by themselves all day or people who are going on vacation and don't want to place their pet in a kennel.

I am looking to help people who want someone who will treat their wishes for their pet with respect, who will love and care for their pet as if it was my own, for I am someone you can rely on. I provide dog walking and pet sitting for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and fish. If you have another type of pet you need sitting for and can leave clear instructions I would love to learn more about animals and am more than willing to take on the task.

The pet sitting will be available daily or for longer periods (vacation), I provide home visits for an approximately half hour a visit and overnight visits as well. I prefer to pet sit in your home since your pet will feel more comfortable in their own environment. Dog walking is available starting at a half hour per walk and increasing in time based upon your needs.
