I’ve grown up with dogs and have always loved being around animals. I have experience with fostering pets, dog walking, house/pet sitting, and attending to puppies. These opportunities have taught me patience, responsibility, and how to help animals feel safe and comfortable. I believe that being a pet sitter is more than just looking after the Animal, but all the additional responsibilities that comes with looking after someone else's pet, the clean up, health and overall happiness of the house, pet and owner. I want to be a pet sitter because I genuinely enjoy caring for pets and giving owners peace of mind knowing their animals are in good hands. I understand how important a caring sitter can be for pets that struggle with separation anxiety, and I hope to create a calm, safe, and loving environment for them while their owners are away. Both of the dogs my family has had through my life have been rescue dogs, which has equipped me to deal with separation anxiety, stubbornness, slight aggressive behaviour and behavioural and obedience training. I would consider myself quite knowledgeable about animals, dogs specifically, and I'm always excited to learn more! My families current dog is very friendly so if you're comfortable I'd love to take both dogs in walks together around the neighbourhood and possibly the Terwillegar dog park. I have a car so transportation should be simple for long distances or in the case of an emergency. I usually offer hour long walks and am very flexible to schedules and dog/ owner preferences. While pet sitting I don't like to leave the animal alone for more than 3-4 hours, but am very open to preferences and suggestions from owners, as long as there is a direct line of communication via text or through Pawster app. Early mornings, and afternoons are the most available for me, so I love to hear from you all soon.
