I have been an animal lover of all kinds my entire life. My dream as a child was to become a vet, although life had other plans for me. As a young girl, I would regularly visit the Humane Society on my way home from school just to love and hang out with animals.

I've owned and cared for all kinds of pets from Australian tree frogs, turtles, hamsters, rabbits, cats, dogs, chickens, horses, and goats. I love being around animals, sometimes, I think more than people.

I love walking, hiking, bird watching, cuddling with my kitty, mushroom foraging, foraging for wild edibles, studying plants, wildlife watching, fishing, camping and travelling. 

My husband and I own and live on 137 acres with lots of trails for private dog walks. We also have a fenced in yard, as well as a hobby farm where my husband and I raise chickens. Yes! We sell our farm fresh eggs! 

I try to focus my pet sitting services to cater to cats, but I also love dogs, and will accept caring for well behaved small to medium dogs. My experience with pet sitting at this point comes only from personal experience, but I know I would be a great fit for anyone looking for a loving and experienced pet owner.

I work from home and have lots of flexibility with my schedule.

I am open to taking pets into my home but would have to limit in-home care to pets that are good with other animals. My husband and I are empty nesters, but we do have fur-babies; Einstein (young male cat) and Leo (elderly Lab). Both are good with other animals, but they may feel defensive if your pet is not used to being around other pets.
