Since I was a child I always wanted a pet, and when I was 6 years old my parents gave me a dog, he was my greatest joy for 8 years until he got sick and I no longer have he with me; months later of that, my mom gave me another dog, her name is Candy, I have had her with me since 2017 and she is a beloved pet, currently she is in my country (Ecuador) with my parents and I miss her every day since I arrived here in Canada.
What inspired me to become a pet sitter is feeling the genuine love they give us, it is a love so loyal and so kind that it is not found everywhere. I like to spend time with pets because they make me feel accompanied and brighten my day.
I have not had the opportunity to have a job as a pet sitter, but it could be considered that I have experience being with my dog, and with my family's or friend's pets. 
I would love to have this opportunity, because although some people consider it a job, I don't consider it so much, because I enjoy spending time accompanied and playing with them, I also have a good connection with pets.

Here at my big, bright apartment I am extremely well set up to take in your pup while you work, or go on trips/vacations. I've been doing this for some time now and have experience with a wide range of dogs and clients.
I can provide constant care, hourly bathroom breaks, care for big dogs 50lb+, take in multiple dogs from different families, and do several walks a day on top of garden playtime.&nbsp;
I can host a maximum of three dogs at any one time, with plenty of space for them all to be separated into inside, if necessary.&nbsp;
I can administer oral medication for your pet, serve specialised diets, exercise very big dogs up to 100lbs and more. Let me know your pets needs. I don’t do well with sickly, unfixed or extremely young dogs, and I try not to book those types of dogs in.&nbsp;
The playful, fun atmosphere I try to cultivate here is best suited for extremely well socialized dogs that do not have separation anxiety.&nbsp;
I live in a quiet neighbourhood with a large park that allows me tons of options for walks. We can completely avoid other dogs if necessary, and we can do anywhere in the region of 15 mins to 90 mins. Whatever it takes to tire your superstar out. We’ll also try to all get along in the garden and do some fetching, tug or wrestling, as suits the dogs.&nbsp;
I’m here 24/7 in a 2 bedroom apartment that I live in alone. I leave for a few hours at a time a few times a week to do my urgent errands, otherwise I endeavour to provide constant care.&nbsp;
Both the deck to the rear of my apartment, and the larger garden downstairs are fully fenced off, with custom perforated fencing so we can slowly introduce dogs to each other.
My dogs live with my partner 90 minutes away right now, but there is a chance they will be here. They are extremely friendly but can be protective of each other initially. I am well used to choreographing meetings with them for extended stay boardings for clients going on vacations.&nbsp;
Inside I have dog beds, enrichment puzzle toys, balls, a Nerf Gun ball launcher, a folding fence for creating timeout zones, pee pads, water and food bowls and tons of space for them to play. They can get on my sofa, I’d prefer to keep them off my bed but I usually melt and relent!

In France, I grew up on a farm surrounded by dogs. I spent most of my afternoons after school taking care of them. That included feeding them, grooming them, taking them to the Vet when needed, walking them, and of course playing with them.
Ever since I moved to Canada, I miss my dogs, therefore being a dog sitter came as an obvious choice when looking for hobbies.&nbsp;
I am really not doing this for money, but just to spend time with dogs. Here is what I do and when I'm available:

I can walk your dog every day (except on weekends) for 2 hours after 2:30 PM. I live in Kitsilano, so I would mostly walk your dog around Kits Beach and Jericho Beach. I am runner, so I could also go for a run with dog, if you want them to exercise.
I can do home visits for a couple for 3 hours after 2:30 PM, I can do other things while coming for home visits (water your plants or get your mail). I can telework everyday, so if you are comfortable with me working around your dog, I can spend the day at your house.

M'occuper de chiens me manque énormément depuis que je vis ici. Devenir dog sitter s'est donc révélé être un choix naturel.&nbsp;
Je ne veux vraiment pas faire cette activité pour l'argent, mais juste pour passer un peu de temps avec des chiens. Voici ce que je fais, et quand je suis disponible:

Je peux promener votre chien tous les jours (sauf la fin de semaine) à partir de 2:30 PM pendant 2 heures. Je vis à Kitsilano, donc je promènerai votre chien vers Kits Beach et Jericho Beach. Je suis également un coureur, donc je peux aussi emmener votre chien faire un peu d'exercice.
Je peux faire des visites à la maison pour une duree de 3 heures a partir de 2:30 PM. Pendant ces visites, je peux egalament arroser vos plantes et aller chercher votre courrier. Je peux teletravailler tous les jours, donc si vous êtes confortable a l'idée que je travaille en présence de votre chien, je peux rester la journée au complet.
