Hi I'm Paula, a caring and responsible mature pet sitter to care for your family pets. Pets are members of your family,and I am committed to providing you with a sense of security that they are cared for. I work casually with CBE(Calgary Board of Education ),so my Police Security clearance has been completed (2022).
I am semi retired, so I have flexibility with times and days. I'm flexible to do weekly visits if you are away on holidays. I can also do overnight visits as required. I will provide 30+minute walks,bring in your mail, water plants as needed. I can take your dog for a solo walk or have them join a walk with another dog, or even my husband lol. Cats, I can do 1 or 2 checks a day and feed and tidy the litter box and give cuddles. Your pup should be socialized and enjoy car rides as we may head to the dog park or do a neighbourhood walk.I also have an older kitty, and have cared for my daughters 3 cats, so I'm familiar with caring for your kitties. Overnight care can be arranged for your dog or cat or both! My goal is to give pets the enjoyment they need and ease your mind that things are looked after. My husband will also assist on walks if needed, he is an instructor at SAIT college. 
Drop in visits: 30 mins-1 hour to feed, refill water, scoop litter, play, etc.
Dog walks: I can do 15, 25, 30, 1 hour walks. Walking with dogs brings me so much joy! I love getting outside. If I’m staying in your home your dog will get a walk AM &amp; PM . :)

I was raised on a small hobby farm and was responsible for many farm animals and pets over the years. It has been pigs, sheep, cats, dogs, gerbils, rabbits, ducks and chickens. I was also my family and neighbourhood dog care taker.
I've taken care of many types of dogs from puppies to seniors, the pullers like huskey mixes, giants like bull mastiff mixes, dogs who just enjoy sitting near a park bench watching everything go by, or even dogs that don't enjoy that skateboard or person running.
I enjoy working with animals and learning each of their own body languages, personalities and dislikes/likes.
I have a very calm personality and like using positive reinforcement.
I hope when I meet your pet, they will be excited to visit or go on a walk.
I want to keep them happy if it's just a pee break and play, a long sniff walk, or a relaxing stay at my home for any type of pet.



I have adored all animals since I was a kid, growing up on a farm I cared for horses, cows, Chickens, pigs, goats and many dogs. As I got older the connection I felt to animals grew stronger and I found myself dreaming about caring for them on a regular basis.&nbsp;In 2018 I worked with Rescue Paws Thailand for 7 months to help control the population of stray dogs, I couldn't be more grateful for this experience as this is where I met my bestfriend Chazzy, (my dog) who is a special part of our family now.Today I have 2 animals of my own, a doggo and bunny. I have experience working in a professional daycare environment, as well as home-based which is what I offer full-time. Our family lost our beloved Gryffin, a black Labrador, earlier this year and we are missing the presence of having a pup in the house but not ready, or able, to get a dog of our own. 
I would enjoy helping families out by offering to watch your baby while you're traveling,  at an event, or just wanting to have a day to yourself.&nbsp;
I love and I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes...bring on the drool.  Our home is close to Fish Creek park and we have a fully fenced yard with green space.&nbsp;
As said, I have cats whom are comfortable with dogs except Ginny who will politely excuse herself and hide under the bed. 
I will only accept dogs whom are vaccinated.   Dogs will only be taken out on a lead with ID tags.  Safety is important. ‍🦺

She is fully vaccinated, well socialised with other dogs and children and she has gone through basic dog training. We love to go for walks several times a day!
