For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Meadowvale for a doggy day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Meadowvale Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer doggy day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Meadowvale sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

I have always had an immense love for dogs, and have taken care of friends dogs, walked them and boarded them many times over the years and the dogs have grown attached to me as well! I look forward to looking after your precious one too!I currently work on a hybrid model, so I can have boarded dogs for certain days and most weekends are fine as well. I am unavailable from Tuesday evening to Thursday evening for boarding as I go to the office on those days.I have a safe and secure home in a great neighborhood, surrounded by parks and I live by the lake, so the beach is a 2 minute drive which is next to a giant dog park. I live on the ground floor apartment so I can always take the dog out as needed for pee breaks etc.I love keeping pets engaged and happy! For dogs, I usually plan fun activities like daily walks in the park, playing fetch and if they are comfortable, doggie dates. For cats, I enjoy interactive play with toys and creating a cozy environment for them to explore. I always tailor activities to each pet's personality and energy level, ensuring they have a great time while feeling safe and cared for.

I'm a professional pet sitter since 2018.
I have grown up with animals and I turned vegan few years back because I love them so much. I have experience with dogs and cats mostly and I know how to care for rabbits, hamsters, Guinea pigs, birds, hedgehogs, chinchillas, turtles and fishes.
I do have a one bedroom apartment with a private fenced backyard. There are lots of parks by my place and lake ontario is 20meters away from me.
I let them roam around freely and there are no restrictions, they are allowed to jump on the bed and sofa and tables. I do have a teacup chihuahua who sleeps most of the time , he does not play and won't bother other babies.
I do nail trimming, regular walks and potty breaks, pick up and drop off services, day care, boarding, drop-in visits and much more!
spending time with animals is one of the best feelings in the life and I am glad to have this mindset that they are friends and like us, so I see them as friends and families.
Your babies will be in good hands

Hi! My name is Christina, and I’m a passionate animal lover with experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I’ve cared for my own dog daily, as well as helping friends and family with their pets, making sure they are fed, exercised, and loved while their owners are away. Every pet deserves attention, care, and a happy environment, and I take pride in providing that. I work part time with dogs and I'm looking to transition into a career with them (from teaching).
I’m motivated to be a pet sitter because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe and cared for in my presence. I understand that every dog has unique needs and personalities, and I always follow instructions carefully to ensure routines are maintained.
I only accept vaccinated pets into my care to ensure the safety and health of all animals. Whether it’s playtime, walks, feeding, or cuddles, I treat every pet as if they were my own, giving owners peace of mind while they’re away.

I am a lifelong animal lover and pet parent. I have lived with/cared for dogs, cats, fish, birds, rodents, rabbits, chickens, and snakes! I am Animal First Aid & CPR certified through St. John's Ambulance and I have experience caring for senior pets, wildlife rescues, and administering medications (including injections).I am a full-time pet caregiver so I'm always available 9am-5pm weekdays, and can take overnight stays any day of the week/weekend. I'm extremely flexible, so any requests are welcomed! BOARDING/DOGGY DAYCARE: I have a car for transport and a nice dog park nearby for exercise. There's a huge field next to my building for bathroom breaks and we take two walks daily in the morning and evening. I have gates, potty training materials, mobility equipment, and a medium crate if necessary. For small animals I have barricades for free roam time in the bedroom, and I have a two-storey Critter Nation cage for downtime/sleep. I also have lots of comfy cushions and blankets to lounge on. All animals are welcome on my couch for cuddles! :) CAPACITY: I can accomodate up to 2 sets of small caged animals* but I only take dogs from one owner at a time whether it's for daycare or boarding.HOME VISITS: This is for animals who are more comfortable in their own homes. I will spend 30 minutes at your home to play with your pet, assess for injury or illness, clean litter trays, and feed/water them. If you require multiple days I will also include a perimeter check of your home and mail pickup upon request. WEEKEND VISITS: Because I care for animals full-time, I can only accommodate one home visit per weekend day (Sat/Sun) unless medications are required twice daily.DOG WALKS: I walk dogs on an individual basis, 11am-3pm weekdays. I can work with your dog on leash reactivity and basic walking etiquette. You will receive a progress report after each walk (how they did, health concerns, poop schedule, etc).*Contained animals are charged PER ENCLOSURE not per animal (i.e. one cage for 3 rats is not extra)! Please let me know if your animal has any special needs or behaviours, in advance. I have a variety of tools and equipment I can prepare.

Hi! I’m a professional full-time dog sitter for 7 years, with over 12 years of hands-on experience in dog walking, daycare, and boarding. Caring for dogs isn’t just my job—it’s truly my passion. I share my home with my own friendly dog and treat every guest like family.I live in a safe, pet-friendly neighborhood with great walking areas and green spaces nearby. Dogs in my care enjoy 4 daily walks (20–30 minutes each), a structured routine, and constant supervision—I never leave dogs home alone.I typically board 4–5 dogs at a time to maintain a calm, balanced environment. I’m experienced with all breeds and temperaments, including administering medication if needed. You’ll receive regular updates for peace of mind, and I’m always available. I’d love to meet you and your pup and build a trusted relationship together with you.

Routine matters to us, so meals, walks, play, and rest stay balanced.

I have over 15+ years of experience caring for pets of all ages, including puppies, senior cats, and special-needs animals. What sets me apart is my ability to build trust with pets, understanding their unique personalities, and creating a customised care plan that meets their needs.
As a working professional with flexible hours, I mostly operate from home, which allows me to incorporate pet care seamlessly into my daily routine. I’m already a pet dad to two special cats, so I understand the importance of attention, care, and consistency. My schedule allows me to give pets the time, love, and attention they need throughout the day, whether it’s for feeding, playtime, or administering medication.
I prioritise safety and comfort for pets in both my home and clients' homes. In my home, I provide a pet-friendly, secure environment. At clients' homes, I follow routines closely, ensuring their space is safe and familiar. I always provide updates and maintain open contact with pet owners, fostering trust and peace of mind.

I have one miniature schnauzer named Milo who loves having his doggie friends visit! I have a lot of experience walking, feeding and bathing dogs. I’m paw-ssionate about dogs. I've been watching dogs for many years. From family and friends dogs, to dogs from online apps that are now like family.
I live in a fully fenced detached house with a deck and grass to play. I am close to nice walking paths and parks. I will send updates and photos of your dog throughout their stay as often as you’d like. I am open to meeting you and your pet, with my dog Milo, prior to your stay.
I like to know the dog’s routine: about the feeding schedule and measurements of food, walking and sleeping routines and any other likes and dislikes your dog has.
A typical day: First thing in the morning the dogs go out for a pee and then have breakfast. They play in the house and in the backyard during the day. We go on a walk mid-day and again after they eat dinner. We like to walk along the paths in the park across the street. At bed time the dogs sleep either in the living room or upstairs in the bedroom. If these routines are not normal for your dog I will follow your schedule and requirements instead. I want to make your dog feel comfortable and have fun during their stay!

I have cared for pets for friends, family, and clients who needed a reliable, loving sitter for their furry companions. Whether it’s daily drop-ins, overnight stays, or providing extra attention while you’re away, I ensure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and at home. I have experience with a wide range of pets, from energetic, playful dogs to calm, cuddly cats, and I’m confident with feeding routines, basic care, daily walks, playtime, and plenty of affection.I’m very fortunate to be married to an animal chiropractor, meaning your pet benefits from a household that truly understands animal care and wellbeing. Between the two of us, your dog will be walked regularly, deeply loved, and treated like one of our own. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I take pride in being dependable, attentive, and committed to each pet’s happiness and comfort. Before care begins, I like to learn about your pet’s needs to ensure their safety and routine are fully supported.Care Includes:Daily walks and exercisePlaytime (fetch, tug-of-war, favorite games)Enrichment (puzzle feeders, interactive toys)Comfort and companionship (cuddles, brushing, routine consistency)Calm activities for anxious or senior pets (soft music, gentle interaction)

Your pets deserve more than just care—they deserve love, comfort, attention, and a true sense of family. I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have grown up caring for many different pets with patience, responsibility, and devotion.
At home, I’ve personally cared for two German Shepherds, a Shih Tzu, parrots, budgie birds, and fish. This hands‑on experience has helped me understand the very different needs of large and small animals, energetic and calm personalities, and species that require specialized routines. Whether it’s an active dog that needs structured exercise or a gentle bird that thrives with calm companionship, I adapt my care to suit each pet’s unique temperament.
Daily care with me includes quality time throughout the day—not quick check‑ins.Dogs receive structured walks of 30–60 minutes, depending on their energy level, along with playtime, mental stimulation, enrichment activities, and proper rest. All pets follow their usual feeding schedules, routines, and house rules exactly as requested to help them feel comfortable and secure.
Availability:
Weekdays: Available after 5:00 PM, with evening and overnight care options
Weekends: Available all day and night, including boarding, daycare, and overnight stays
This schedule allows me to dedicate focused, uninterrupted time to your pets. Pets are rarely left alone, and if I do need to step out briefly, it’s only for short periods and never without ensuring your pet is safe, comfortable, and settled.
I’m highly attentive to signs of stress, anxiety, or discomfort and adjust care accordingly—whether that means extra play for energetic pets, calm one‑on‑one time for shy animals, or reassurance for pets that miss home. Emotional well‑being is always a top priority.
For boarding and daycare, pets stay in a clean, calm, pet‑friendly home environment with plenty of space to rest, play, and feel secure. I carefully manage supervision and can separate pets as needed based on size, personality, or comfort level. Regular updates can also be provided so you feel connected while your pet is in my care.
In case of any emergency, I remain calm, responsible, and communicative. I follow your instructions closely, contact you immediately, and can reach a nearby vet if required. Your pet’s safety and health always come first.
I treat every pet as if they were my own—ensuring they feel safe, happy, and genuinely loved at all times. From walks and feeding to companionship and routine care, your pet will receive the same respect and affection I give my own animals.
When your pet is with me, you can have complete peace of mind knowing they’re in experienced, attentive, and loving hands. ️
