For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Markham for a doggy day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Markham Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer doggy day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Markham sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

I have 1.5 years of experience caring for my British Shorthair cat, known for her calm and independent nature, and over 2 years with my energetic and loving Samoyed dog. I’m experienced in feeding, grooming, playtime, and understanding the unique needs of both cats and dogs, ensuring they feel loved, safe, and well cared for.

As a part-time pet sitter and a dedicated student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide attentive care for your pets while balancing my studies.

I live in a smoke-free condo with no children, providing a quiet and safe environment. I ensure pets feel comfortable, cared for, and stress-free while in my home.

I’ll ensure every pet I watch gets plenty of care and attention. For cats, I’d create fun activities like interactive play with toys, laser pointers, or feather wands to keep them active and engaged. For dogs, I’d take them on enjoyable walks, play fetch, or engage in games like tug-of-war, depending on their energy level and preferences.

Please send me your pet’s daily routine, behavior, and exercise needs, as well as any health issues, medications, or dietary restrictions.
If they love special toy or activity please let me know.
Also if your pet’s veterinary number is not on profile please send it to me for as well as one extra number for emergency situation.

Hello! I'm a Certified Behavioral Specialist, with background training from all over the field; Balance, Agility, Service etc.Why am I here? Because the lengths i go to to fulfill your dog's needs has no bounds. It gives me great pleasure to exercise your dog, challenge them, and have a great time with other friends while you're away. For example, a typical day for me usually starts with several 90min walks, depending on weather and type of dog. According to their criteria, I have many different types of tools, games, obstacles, and of course the walks to keep them entertained, and healthy both mentally and physically. About me: As an actual professional, i accept most dogs as my experiences have taught me how to deal with even the most dominant dogs, not neutered, aggressive, or energetic characters. So book a walk, a daycare, or a train & board and let me show you your dog's full potential

Hi! I’m a passionate animal lover who truly understands that pets are family. I’ve grown up around animals and have always had a natural connection with them. Caring for pets makes me happy and that's what encourage me to take care of their wellbeing.
I offer reliable and loving pet care services including dog walking, daycare, drop-in visits, and overnight pet sitting. My 30-minute walks are perfect for exercise, potty breaks, playtime, and mental stimulation. Daycare and sitting services include supervised care, feeding, fresh water, play sessions, cuddles, and regular updates so you can feel at ease while away.
I’m comfortable caring for dogs, puppies, and other friendly small pets. I especially enjoy working with puppies and understand the extra patience, supervision, and routine they need. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality, energy level, and comfort.
My home is clean, safe, and pet-friendly, providing a calm environment where pets can feel comfortable and secure. In emergency purposes, I will contact the owner and they will not be left alone. I focus on creating a stress-free experience with plenty of affection, attention, and care. Whether your pet loves playtime, walks, or simply relaxing with company, I adapt to their needs.
My goal is simple: to make sure your pet feels happy, safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away.

I've been an animal lover—especially dogs—for as long as I can remember! Over the years, I’ve cared for a variety of breeds and was lucky to have my own beloved pup by my side for 16 wonderful years. When your fur baby stays with me, you can trust they’ll be cared for with love, attention, and lots of tail-wagging fun. I’ll treat them like one of my own.
I’m a full-time teacher during the school year, and in the summer, I dedicate my time to dog boarding. I only take one dog at a time to ensure they get my full attention. I’m home throughout the day and love spending quality time walking, playing, and relaxing with my furry guests.
I live in a spacious two-bedroom condo, where your dog will always be safe, supervised, and comfortable. Walks are a regular part of our day, and I’ll make sure your pup gets plenty of exercise and affection.

The primary reason I am pursuing pet sitting is my genuine love for animals. I find great joy in spending time with pets, playing with them, and providing attentive care. Additionally, pet sitting offers the flexibility and independence I value, allowing me to manage my own schedule while working with a variety of animals. As a pet owner myself, I have gained substantial hands-on experience in understanding their habits and daily needs.

I believe pets possess a unique charm—they are not only adorable but also bring immense joy and relaxation to our lives. Like cherished friends and family, they offer companionship and happiness. I understand how important they are, and how concerning it can be when work or travel makes it difficult to meet their daily needs. That’s why I am committed to providing reliable, high-quality care, which includes:

- Maintaining a clean living environment for pets
- Providing regular walks and attentive care for dogs and cats
- Following scheduled feeding and hydration routines
- Ensuring adequate exercise and playtime for their well-being
- Conducting safety checks on fences, gates, and doors to keep pets secure

One of my most rewarding experiences was caring for a high-energy, one-year-old dog named Sunny for a three-week period while his owners were abroad. Beyond the essential daily care—including tailored feeding, long exploratory walks, and grooming—I focused on positive reinforcement training to address his mild separation anxiety and leash-pulling. By implementing a consistent routine, using clicker training for calm behavior when I departed, and practicing "heel" commands with treats during walks, we made significant progress. Sunny became more relaxed when alone and far more manageable on the leash. This experience taught me that exceptional pet sitting goes beyond reliable care; it's about patiently reinforcing good habits, providing mental stimulation, and ensuring the pet feels both secure and happy in their owner's absence, which I document with regular photo updates.

I am a passionate animal lover with extensive experience in dog caregiving. Since the age of 13, I have been providing care for my own dogs, forming a special bond with them, and doing my best to ensure their lives are healthy and happy. Together with my spouse, we provided a loving home for our Miniature Schnauzer for 11 years, contributing to his long and healthy life until the age of 14.

Currently, we have been caring for our Wire Haired German for nearly 3 years with utmost dedication. The time spent with him has reinforced the value of the special bond created with dogs. The photos and writings shared on my Instagram account reflect our intimate relationship with dogs and the enjoyable moments we share.

Working with you would be a fantastic opportunity to further broaden my experience in dog caregiving and share my expertise in the field. With strong communication skills and a sense of responsibility, I assure you that I will provide the necessary care for the health, happiness, and safety of the dogs.

Hi, I’m Tanvi, a calm, responsible, and reliable pet lover based in East York. My motivation for becoming a pet sitter comes from a genuine love for animals and a deep understanding of the trust involved in caring for someone’s pet and home.
I shared my life with a Golden Retriever named Ruby, who lived a full, happy life. Caring for her from puppyhood through her senior years taught me patience, responsibility, and how important consistency and routine are for dogs. That experience shaped the way I approach pet care with attentiveness, kindness, and respect for each pet’s individual needs.
In addition to personal experience with dogs and cats, I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions, maintaining routines, administering basic care, and ensuring pets feel safe and relaxed in their familiar environment. For everyone’s safety, I prefer to care for vaccinated pets and value clear communication about health, behaviour, and routines.
I offer paid overnight pet boarding, dog walking, daily house visits, and pet check-ins, ideal for owners who want dependable care without overnight stays.
I’m happy to provide regular photo updates and thoughtful communication so you can enjoy your time away with complete peace of mind.

I'm a certified position rewards based dog trainer , l lost my dog in March so I'm still grieving . I figured I could still have doggy time this way and make some extra cash. I love big dogs, I know how hard it is to find someone to care for them when you want a vacay. Well I'm here for you. I'll meet your fur babies with you and win them over so you can get some much needed beach time.
I work full time Monday-Friday so availability depends on if you need 24 hrs care or not.
I am unable to accommodate separation anxiety at my home but happy to work with it at yours .
I can do weekends at my home, but I'm in an apartment although it is right by the Don Valley park system. It's not ideal but I can do ( Friday evening to Sunday evening)
I'm happy come stay at your home while you're away for as long as you need. I'm ok giving medications and respecting whatever protocols you need.
I can pick up and top off , if they fit in my Honda ;)
Happy to go to preferred parks or beaches areas for extended outdoor time.
Leash rules respected. Dietary supplements and raw diet specifics administered as required.
Please feel free to ask questions .

Hi, I’m Ashley— a lifelong dog lover with over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for pups of all shapes and sizes! I grew up in a dog-loving household and have been a dedicated pet parent to my own sweet cockapoo for the past 8 years.

Since 2018, I’ve been providing dog walking, boarding, and sitting services with a focus on creating a safe, force free, fun, and cozy home-away-from-home for your dog. I understand how tough it can be to leave your pup — that’s why I treat every dog like family. Whether we’re cuddling on the couch, heading to the park, or playing tug-of-war, your dog will be loved, entertained, and cared for as if they were my own.

Why choose me?
•Home full-time (daytime and weekends)
•Rarely gone more than 4 hours at a time and I always monitor pups via webcam if I step out
•Dog-friendly environment in Midtown Toronto with access to several dog parks and walking areas
•Friendly resident cockapoo who loves new playmates
•Flexible scheduling and open communication
•Trusted by regular, returning clients since 2018

Whether your pup loves long walks, cozy naps, or lots of playtime, I’m here to make them feel right at home. I can’t wait to meet your dog!!

I've taken care of dogs of every kind most of my life, and I love all animals. I will be able to walk, feed, play with, bathe, your pets and even administer medication(s) if required. I will treat your pup(s) friend like a family member as if they were my own. There are lovely parks in the area and I also have a car to take them to off leash parks in the area. Over the years I have I also volunteered with various rescue organizations and I have taken care of many dogs for both family and friends.
I have an open home, and accept dogs of all shapes, sizes, breeds and ages, and don't have a dog in my home at present, (which is ideal for dogs that may require solo care). There are lots of parks in the area and paths we can walk through together, and lots of other pups in the area to play with, (if your pup is good with other dogs).
Pups are allowed on my furniture and I encourage it. I do however, go by your pup's program, schedule and what you wish. They will be walked every 3-4 hours and also they will be fed based on their current schedule. As I am alone in my apartment, I am able to devote all my time on your pup. The longest I would ever be out of my home is 2 hours however, because I am primarily home, that won't be very frequently.
I have a one bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor. I do not have any plants only artificial which are out of reach. I have a very dog friendly apartment. The building is very dog friendly. I also have an elevator in case your pup doesn't like stairs.
I have a balcony which has artificial grass and also I have places for your pup to sit and enjoy a little sunbathing. I will never leave your pup unattended on the balcony.
Before I accept any dog, I like to arrange a meet-and-greet, so make sure we all get along, and so if you think I might be a great fit, please contact me, and let's have a chat!
